My girlfriend and I have had a stormy relationship for 4 years. The fact of the matter is we both love each other. The issue is her daughter of 27 years.
Verbally attacked her, says she hates me and will not ever speak to her mom again as long she is with me. Her daughter has made some poor choices herself and her mom always supported her. Given no choice my girlfriend will have to choose between her daughter and me, blood is thicker than water.
Is the daughter being selfish?
Should I leave the relationship now?

Well, I think that the daughter is being selfish, and is not giving the relationship a chance.
The mother has to have a serious talk with her daughter, and so should you!
You should try to find a common ground, something in common between you and the daughter, and start from there.
Be gentle and show the daughter that you understand her fear, but you love her mom and you love her, and that you would like to be one happy family.

Listen when it becomes between family such as mother and daughter you really need to let your girlfriend talk to her and you need to suport your girlfriend in every way, that way you can make it a little easier on her. And believe me its not going to be easy. So if you do love this girl, right now is when you need to show it the most.Were she will know your worth fighting for!!

You can't build a relation between you and the mother and break another relation between the mother and her daughter. Either to build a successful relation between both of them or lose both of them. Otherwise you'll be counted as selfish yourself.
A girl in the age of 27 makes your way much harder specially if she had previous poor choices which means she needs love and so far she has only the love of her mother, what if you take it away from her or at least portion of it?!
The daughter's relation can't be ignored, you must start from there.
