I am in grade 7 and there is a helper in the school who helps out the teachers and she is REALLY pretty. She is in grade 12 and is 5 years older than me. I don’t know if she has a boyfriend, but I like her a lot. I don’t know what to do. I know she likes me as a friend but I like her more than just a friend. What should I do?

Five years is a lot! But it wouldn’t hurt to have a little chat with her, and see what she has in mind … if it turns out that she is not interested then retreat, if she shows positive signs then you’ve got luck!
But let me advise you to get a girlfriend that is your age, there must be plenty of girls who would love to hang out with you. And they might be more fun than the other young girl is!

Listen. Obviously u have a crush and that is completly normal. If u tell her she will be freaked out....trust me I was pretty freaked out when my best friend's brother told me that he had a crush on me (same age as me). It's just normal to like her becuz later on u will get over her and like someoneelse. Trust me i used to like this boy in the 10th grade but not anymore. It's just a phase. Ps: I'm in the 7th grade too so u aren't the only one that's gone through this.
I think u should tell her how u feel if she does not really pay attention to u well just "let it burn" like Usher and if she does care well start doin stuff to enpress her just don't go to far with it remember she is 5 years older than u but age ain't nothin but a number if its true love.

I know what's it like having crushes. But unfortunately your age span would not work. I highly doubt she will go for someone that much younger. You can talk to her but dont expect much. Who knows maybe in 5-10 years when you both get older, the age gap wouldnt be an issue.
Realistically the odds are not in your favor right now.
hey, i think you should be friendly but she might be a bit too old and might have a boyfriend if she's an older teen. it's just a crush; don't be disappointed. you can find a nice girl your age or closer to your age. just be patient and show you're not desperate when you're around her.
