You definitely have your olive oil stored in a glass bottle, but is it clear or opaque?
Well, turns out this is an important factor to how much nutrients & antioxidants are stored in your olive oil!
Olive oil looses its antioxidant value after only a few months of exposure to heat and light, which means that the perfect conditions for storing olive oil are in an opaque bottle, in a dark and cool place!
And to maintain a healthy diet use Virgin olive oil. It is the best oil when cooking or making vinaigrettes for salads.

When trying to buy fresh fish, you have to make sure it is truly fresh! And it is tricky business!

Always look for fish with:

- clear, bright bulging eyes
- shiny, taut, bright skin
- dark red gills that are not slippery
- flesh that feels firm, elastic, and tight to bone
- moist, clearly cut fillets and steaks

On the other hand, always avoid fish with:
- strong fishy smell
- dull, bloody, or sunken eyes
- fading skin with bruises, red spots, or browning or yellowing at edges of flesh
- raggedly-cut fillets and steaks

If we could always get fresh fish to cook, that would be great! But ...

As kids we used to love the after school snack, or the yummy snack in front of the TV, right? Well, as adults nothing has changed!
Personally, I LOVE and Adore and Worship snacks … YUMMY! When I think of Ritz Crackers, Oreo Cookies or Wholegrain Chips Ahoy, I remember the old days at school and playing with my friends and filling my tummy with mouthwatering snacks and then not being able to have lunch with my family! My mom would go crazy!
Oh! I just remembered another one of my favorite things to crunch on, Cheddar Cheese Twists Chips! Oh My God!
