Kitchen: Cocktails


I found an en-genius way to get my daily recommended fruit portion without having to think too much about it or feel horrible about eating 4 or 5 fruits everyday!
I said to myself 'why not stick everything in a blender and whizz it all up into a smooth fruit cocktail?'
The end result was a refreshing, cool and very healthy fresh cocktail!
I enjoy every sip and i get all the benefits of the fresh fruit and i get the needed portions of fresh fruit that my body needs!

I mix in any fruits i have at hand, for example:
Strawberries, an orange, a banana and half an apple!
Of course add a cup of water and a tiny bit of honey to the mixture before blending.
If you'd like it a bit sweeter, don't add honey, just add a tablespoon or two of sugar.

Lime

When your on the pool side, and feel like having the most refreshing drink this summer, you have to have a long frosted glass of Lime cocktail.
Make it ahead of time so that you wouldn’t have to be away too much from the water!

In Summer, when the temperatures are high, and you need something yummy, cool and light to gulp down, the best thing to have is a smoothie, or healthy drink. It is easy to make, cold and extremely healthy, and it also fills up your stomach!

Summer Cocktails

Since the summer is very near, and the heat is creeping up on us ... we need something refreshing and cool to chill us when the sun is shining hard and the sweat is dripping like rain!

You can take the lazy way out, and have a glass of coke, or iced tea ... but why dont you be creative and energetic, and make one of these great summer cocktails that will have you running to the kitchen for more ?!
