Vegetable Cassarole

It's been really long since I’ve posted any recipes ... but now I am back!
This recipe is a family favorite & although vegetables are the rulers of this dish, I listed it under meat, because it does have some minced meat.
Ok, here are the ingredients:

12 Zucchini's – peeled & cut length-wise in half -
750 gm Carrots – peeled & diced -
300 gm minced meat – precooked with diced onion & spiced up with black pepper –
½ liter milk
100 gm flour
grated cheese – a lot! –

Meat Balls, Albondigas or Banadiq

These meat balls are so good, you can practically use them in every dish!
They are known to all the world, and in Spain they are called Albondigas, and are used in the famous Tapas. While in Tunisia they are called Banadiq, and they are used in any dish you feel like using them in!
But the truth is, they are so yummy ... you can throw one in your mouth just like that and enjoy the taste!
They are also very easy to make, and can be preserved in the fridge for a few weeks.

Red Beans & Meat Chili

This is a great recipe for winter, because it makes your tummy warm.
It is very easy, and you can make a big pot to last two days.

Ingredients:

1/2 kilo minced meat
1 can red kidney beans
1 onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 1/2 cup hot water
1/2 can tomato paste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
cayenne pepper, salt & pepper

The Easiest Shepherd’s Pie Ever

This is a traditional English Pie that can be made for lunch or early dinner, because it is yummy and easy to make.
I first heard of this dish when I was in Brighton, England visiting my Grandma & Grandpa.

Cajun Style Grilled Hamburgers

Everybody loves hamburgers, and in summer the weather is perfect for a barbeque! Just pack your stuff and head towards your back yard!
These are spicy burgers cooked on the grill and topped with a hot barbeque sauce. Serve in hamburger rolls, lettuce, tomato, and red onion rings.

Wiener Schnitzel

This is the best “escalope” recipe in the world!
My grandma is German, and she used to make this recipe for us all the time, my mom makes it as well, and now I make it for my family.
It makes an ordinary meal seem royal!
Serve with French fries, salad and boiled veggies, or with boiled potatoes and a slice of lemon.
