Chocolate truffles don't have to be too sophisticated or snobby!
You can make a bunch at home & they are as easy as pie & are a fun activity for the whole family!
If your family likes chocolate, then they will really LOVE these!
All you need are 4 easy ingredients & you're ready, here they are:
220 grams cream cheese, softened
3 cups powdered sugar
12 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Gradually add sugar, mixing until well blended.
Add melted chocolate & vanilla; mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Now, you can roll these balls into your choice of coating! Roll in walnuts, cocoa, powdered sugar or coconut.
