gambas

The other day i was on the phone with a relative in Spain, and she told me they were having Gambas Pil Pil at the moment! The name made me laugh, but i was curious to know what this dish was. So, i searched the net for the recipe and found out that it's a very yummy Spanish dish, made with shrimps and that originated from the days of Andalusia.
Now you have to remember that Spain has the best Tapas!
It is very easy to make, but i must warn you, it will fill the house with the smell of shrimps!

Ingredients:

1 kilo shrimps, cleaned, peeled & deveined
1 tablespoon garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons olive oil
pinch of salt
1 chilli pepper, cut into small pieces or 2 teaspoons chilli powder

Preheat oven.
Put the shrimps in an oven dish, sprinkle the garlic over it, add the salt & chilli, then drizzle the olive oil over it.
Put into the oven, until shrimps are orange/pink and done.
Sprinkle with chopped parsely -if you like- .
Serve hot with bread.

Grrreat !

All very well, Graham, but maybe you'd like to supply a recipe instead of being so sniffy. I'd like to know one. Phil
