
This is one of my dad's favorite recipes. Every time i go home for the holidays, the first thing he does, is take me out grocery shopping to by the needed ingredients for the Pasta Gorgonzola :)
It is quiet easy, but takes a bit of time.
Ingredients:
450g any kind of pasta of your choice
1 broccoli head
1 tsp crushed garlic
2 tsps butter
5 tbsp cream fresh
5 tbsp milk
200g blue cheese - Roquefort / Gorgonzola - crumbled
100g grated cheese - parmesan / mozzarella
Cook the pasta in boiling water as usual. Wash the broccoli well, cut into small flowerets, and cook in boiling water until dark green & tender.
As for the cheese sauce, melt the butter in a sauce pan, add garlic and stir until transparent, then add the cream fresh and the blue cheese and stir until melted. Keep stirring, add milk, and grated cheese and stir until thick sauce is done. taste, if lacking salt, then add according to taste.
In a big pot, add broccoli to pasta, mix well, then add the sauce and stir until pasta is covered with sauce, and serve!
