This time the recipes are of yummy desserts.
They are easy to make, and very delicious; just as sweet as your baby.
1. Creamed Bananas
1 ripe banana, sliced into small pieces
1/4 cup light cream or use a bit of milk instead
Pinch of granulated sugar
Blend ingredients in bowl until creamy. Serve. Stores well refrigerated.
2. Kiwi, Banana or Peach Mash
1 fruit (kiwi, banana or peach)
1/4 cup yoghurt
1/4 cup multi-grain cereal (like nestle cerelac)
Mash the fruit with a fork. Add yoghurt, infant multi-grain cereal.
Blend well, and serve. Doesn't store for a long time.
3. Baby Fruits (for storing)
I might have mentioned this before, but this recipe is really good if you want to store a quantity in the freezer.
Use apples and pears, cut each fruit into quarters, then put into a bowl and cover to microwave for about 4 minutes. Blend until smooth.
You can use immediately or store by freezing in ice cube trays. When frozen, pop the fruit cubes out of the trays and transfer to freezer bags to store in freezer. Use when needed, just let thaw for a while before serving.
