This is a great recipe for winter, because it makes your tummy warm.
It is very easy, and you can make a big pot to last two days.
Ingredients:
1/2 kilo minced meat
1 can red kidney beans
1 onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 1/2 cup hot water
1/2 can tomato paste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
cayenne pepper, salt & pepper
In a big pot, fry the onions, garlic and minced meat until done.
Add the tomato paste and water and boil for a few minutes, then add salt, pepper and enough cayenne pepper to make the stew chili and not sickeningly hot!
Lower the heat, and simmer for 25 minutes, then add the kidney beans and simmer for another 15 minutes until stew is thick and dark.
Serve with bread, and enjoy.
