One of the very delicate and smooth desserts in the Arab world is the simple Arabic Pudding called 'Kishk El Fuara'.
It is something like the well known 'Muhallabia', but with a tad bit of a difference.
It is so easy to make, and will be yummy to all tastes.

1 liter milk
2 tbsp corn starch
3 tbsp sugar
a bit of rosewater

Boil the milk and then add the sugar over it a stir well. Add the corn starch, which has been diluted into a small glass of water, and pour in the rosewater.
stir well and pour into small bowls and put into the fridge until really cold.

Decorate the top with ground walnuts, almonds, pistachios and coconut.

Easy Peasy!

i know this recipe by the name "Muhallabia"... it's so easy and yummy "but i don't really like it :)" you can also add fresh rosemary "husolban" with the bloiling milk to give it a speacial flavor.. but remember to take it out of the pot before adding the corn starch..

For me "kishk el fu2ara" is the name of other recipe wich is also known by "shorabet kishkeh/ kishkeh soup".. it's dried "yougurt with walnuts and bulgur" all in powder form "we buy it in that form".. we cook it as a soup and add some little peaces of bread when serving :)
