We have to care endlessly for our kids, and when you have a diabetic kid, this endless care doubles! And when it comes to food, the concern has to be great, because a tiny mistake could be of great risk and harm for your loved child.
I am going to start off with an easy recipe that can be made quickly. This diabetic recipe is great for all kids, it is extremely healthy, and low in sugar, and will be a biggie for adults as well.

Watermelon-Pineapple Slush

1 can frozen pineapple juice concentrate, thawed
4 cups cubed, seeded watermelon
1 12-ounce can flavored sparkling water
Lime slices

In a blender combine pineapple juice concentrate and watermelon. Cover and blend until smooth. Pour into four cocktail glasses. Divide the sparkling water among the glasses and stir to combine. Garnish each glass with a lime slice.
