
This is a Hawaiian twist to the ordinary skewered shrimps.
The taste of pineapples is very interesting with shrimps, especially if they are well marinated.
You can grill these is on the barbeque, or in the oven. Serve with any side salad you like.
Easy Peasy!
Ingredients:
One cup Olive oil & Lime Juice for marinade
1 kilo uncooked large shrimp peeled and de-veined
1 can pineapple chunks in natural juice, drained or fresh pineapple chunks
1 red onion, cut into chunks
2 sweet red peppers, cut into chunks
In plastic bag, toss the shrimps in with the marinade and leave for half an hour.
Remove shrimps, put on skewers, alternating with pineapples, onions and peppers.
Grill kabobs over medium barbeque heat, or in the oven, brush frequently with marinade, and keep grilling until shrimps turn pink.
