Diet Sodas: Hazardous to Your Health

If you think that diet sodas are better for your health than the regular one, you’d better think again. Whether regular or diet, the long-term intake of such drinks will have an adverse effect on your health. In a study published in the journal Circulation imply that even just one soda a day can increase the risk by 40% that the person will suffer from heart disease. Previously sodas have been implicated in diseases like diabetes and now its heart disease.

Drinking even just one soda a day can lead to the condition called metabolic syndrome which includes excessive fat around the waist, low good cholesterol level, high blood pressure and others. When metabolic syndrome is present the chances of heart disease is even higher.

Further study need to be made about the link found between heart disease and soda drinks. But if you’re health conscious and would still like to live long on earth, the best thing would be to cut down on your favorite fizzy drink. Just have some healthier substitute.

Hey yes this is soo true and from experience i can tell. I couldnt live without drinking 2 to 3 cans of coke per day its been 2months now i havent touched any kind of sodas and i lost weight. Basically fizzy drinks doesnt make you fat but you get a big tummy which is hard to loose as you get older. So all you girls out there if you trying too loose weight and cant just know its from soda drinks even diet coke is just like normal coke there is no such thing as diet maybe less spoon of sugar but everything else is the same. Its not easy giving up fizzy drinks believe i know how it feels but think bout summer time with a flat tummy now ask is fizzy drink worth it?
    Take care!
