Obesity is one of the biggest problems nowadays, not only of adults but especially when it comes to kids. And we all know the implication of being obese, especially when it started out in childhood. But you know that kids being what they are always want food, food, food. So, if you are a parent who fears that your child might become obese you can use 100% fruit juice in his diet. Researchers recently found out that kids who drink fruit juice are not likely to become overweight and they are able to take in more nutrients than those who don’t.

A co-author of the research, Theresa A. Nicklas, Dr.Ph., L.N. said, “Even among the children who consumed the most juice, we found no association at all with the children being overweight or at risk for overweight.”

Some of the nutrients that benefit kids who have higher intake of fruit juice are energy, carbohydrate, fiber, vitamin C and B6, potassium, magnesium, iron, folate, iron and riboflavin. So if you want your kids to be healthier and active, incorporate more pure fruit juice in their daily diet.
