
Got weight problems? Maybe you’re one of the women who are not comfortable in their own body because of the fats and flab that cling to it. We all know that weight is a major problem especially for a woman’s self-esteem, so what solution would be best? Dieting? Well could be. But do you know that dieting can lead to an even greater weight gain when you give up dieting? Researchers found that most dieters really end up heavier than before and the weight they put back in their bodies poses more harm of heart attack, stroke and diabetes. This type of dieting cycle is no good at all since it just causes more health concerns.
According to researcher Dr. Traci Mann, “You can initially lost 5 to 10 per cent of your weight on any number of diets. But after this honeymoon period, the weight comes back. We found that the majority of people regained all the weight, plus more. Sustained weight loss was found only in a small minority of participants, while complete weight regain was found in the majority."
So if you are overweight and you do not have that consistency to uphold the dieting plan it will be better not to pursue it. If you really want to lose weight the best thing in my opinion would be to exercise on a regular basis, and of course do not overeat. And that goes not only for women but men as well.
