Uuuughh does it hurt anywhere? Why not drink coffee? Some researchers recently conducted a study on the effects of caffeine on muscle soreness. But these muscles aches come from working out. They said that drinking two cups of coffee just before you proceed with your exercise might lessen the feeling of soreness in your muscles by 50%!
So instead of tuning to aspirin or ibuprofen to relieve post-workout aches and pains you can just have coffee instead! Well you’re given a choice, tablet or coffee? Which do you think is the lesser evil?
Take note however, that the said coffee effect might no longer be effective to regular coffee drinkers as well as to those who drink a lot of caffeine containing beverages. Another warning, you also have to watch the amount of caffeine you intake before work out since it can give jitteriness, heart palpitations and sleep disturbances. So people, drink coffee MODERATELY!
