We’re all aware that cancer is one of the most dreaded diseases at the present time. This silent killer has victimized a lot of people; others have survived while some are not so lucky. Cancer can be in many forms also depending on which pat of the body it affects, like Pancreatic cancer. In this particular type of cancer, even though the tumor has been removed the possibility of having a setback and early death is still very big.

But according to some German researchers the risk of relapse from this particular disease can be reduced if the victim takes the chemotherapy drug called gemcitabine right after the person undergoes surgery. The person who takes gemcitabine has a great chance of being free from disease by more than six months. It is also hopes that this drug will help kill the cancer cells left out after the surgery thereby increasing the chances of survival.

This findings certainly sparks new hope for pancreatic cancer victims. It’s certainly worth the gamble if you want to survive and live longer to be with your loved ones.
