Yup, a fresh face joins the three famous judges of American Idol. Kara DioGuardi already met up with your favorite Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson. Paula is no longer the only rose among the thorns, and how do you think she feels about that? Well she likes the change in the judging dynamics, “We can try to gang up against the guys.”
Paula and Kara know each other from way back; it seems that they were roommates in the late 90s.

Now on its second sales week, the group’s album remains on the number one spot in the Billboard Top 10 with 147,000 copies sold just this week. Well, compared to its first week’s figures of 525,000 we can see that there’s already a very significant drop in sales. Despite that, it’s still a good thing that the group’s album is able to hold on to the number one position.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney kicked off the Venice film Festival today with a red carpet appearance for the premiere of their movie Burn After Reading.
Both Brad and George looked chic and eye catching in crisp suits and bow ties!
The fans lined on the sides of the red carpet went mad as the duo arrived at the red carpet at the Sala Grande in Venice.
Tilda Swinton was also present at the premiere. She sported a dress in her usual odd colors style. This time a dark mustard dress and no accessories what-so-ever!
The Coen brothers were also there, how can they not? This is their comedy after all!

Liz even goes on to reveal that Hugh, her hubby and her son Damian are the most important people in her life. She says: "If I'm alone with Hugh, Arun and Damian I can turn off my cell phone… No-one else really matters."

Heidi wants to make a name for herself -no matter how- in the music business ... her previous songs and their matching music videos were mediocre and now she's tried her best to raise the bar, but i don't think she scored!
Her newest song/music video is 'Overdosin' and through it Heidi is transformed into an 80's aerobics instructor with big hair, leg warmers and a sweatband!
This seemed like a good idea, and at first glance that photos show something funky and fun, but when watching the video, you realize it's a disappointment!

Keith Urban has been working so hard that he injured his back! I am not sure what exactly he was doing, maybe carrying the baby too much, maybe hauling rocks! but he injured his back and has suffered a slipped disc!
Although this usually requires bed rest, Keith won't let his back get in the way of his current tour!
Keith revealed this setback to his fans at a concert the Konocti Harbor Resort & Spa in Kelseyville, California last Saturday. But he delivered an entertaining concert and gave it all he's got!

After all those years and one previous break up, Michael Bolton and Nicolette Sheridan have ended their engagement and are -again- going their separate ways!
Sheridan's rep released a statement saying: "Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement. They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter."
What a pity! I really thought they made a great couple. They seemed so compatible.
Those two started dating way back in 1992, broke up and then in 2005 got back together.
In 2006 they announced that they've gotten engaged to be married. That's not going to happen!
Well, who knows, maybe they'll get back together in a year or two!

Patricia Williams claims that Riri let her go and accused her of stealing her money! So, what does this person have to say for herself? She said: "It's not my fault that she only has $20,000 to her name. I have worked for many high-profile actors, musicians and multi-million dollar corporations. Why would I steal from Rihanna?"
Williams goes on to say that Riri's record label Def Jam and her manger Marc Jordan are to blame for her financial problems!

Farahani has been barred from leaving Iran and it was a surprised for her; she planned to travel to Hollywood to discuss a potential new film and that was when the discovered that she isn't allowed to leave the country!
IRNA said Iranian movie stars must obtain permission from the Culture Ministry before appearing in foreign movies.
