I only got the chance to watch the two-hour movie 'Knight Rider' yesterday and I gotta admit it's fantabulous! It blew my friends and i away!
When i wrote about the remake a few months ago, i was in doubt it would get any ratings at all! But turns out i was so wrong! Glad to have been wrong!
Knight rider is an icon, i was a kid in the early 80's but i remember watching Michael Knight and KITT in their adventures, although i didn't understand a thing of what was happening then!
So, when i watched the two-hour movie i was so happy!
Choosing Justin Bruening as Mike Traceur is perfect! He's got the same build as David Hasselhoff -a bit shorter- and even looks kinda' like him sometimes, minus the curly hair!
As for the new KITT, which is Knight Industries Three Thousand, not Two Thousand anymore ... well, Ford Mustang ... enough said!
This Mustang is the coolest, sassiest car you've ever seen! It has a supercomputer capable of hacking almost any system; it has a sophisticated weapons system and its body is capable of Repairing itself and shifting shape and color, thanks to nanotechnology!
Oh! And guess who's the voice of this hot, talking car? Val Kilmer! He might not be such a successful actor, but his voice is just right for this car!

You are just like me ... waiting for the writers' strike to end ... not for any other reason but for our favorite series like Lost and Prison Break to continue in their normal pace!
Oh! And personally, i was afraid that there won't be an Oscar event like every year!
But ... things are looking good at last! News is that after three months, the writers have kinda' reached a deal with the producers. I guess the idea of canceling another red carpet event scared those Hollywood producers, no?
The strike ended when Hollywood producers agreed to give striking writers a piece of the profit that their work might make over the Internet! which means they'll get paid for the online use of TV shows and movies ... Good deal, ha?
It's true, the writers might not have gotten all they asked for, but they did show the world that they're strong and that their union can do something!
So, The Oscars are two weeks away and now the writers can get to writing the jokes that put the atmosphere in the event.
Things can return to normal and the actors can return to the sets of their series and money can start rolling into Hollywood again and the economy won't continue it's deterioration!
Cool, ha?!

Famous photographer Annie Leibovitz has been photographing famous people for the last 35 years! She's the one that snapped that famous photo of John Lennon hours before he was shot and killed! It was published on the cover of Rolling Stone and has since become one of the most famous magazine covers in the world.
Annie also took that photo of Demi Moore, seven months pregnant, wearing nothing but jewelry. It was after that, that pregnant celebrities braved up and started taking nude photos of their bellies!
The latest work of Annie is a series of portraits for Disney. In celebration of "Year of a Million Dreams."
The portraits feature famous celebrities in fairy-tale settings as famous Disney characters.
The portraits include Whoppi Goldberg as The Genie from Aladdin, Jennifer Lopez as Jasmine, Jessica Biel as Pocahontas, Gisele Bundchen as Wendy from Peter Pan and Marc Anthony as Aladdin!

J.J. Abrams latest movie 'Cloverfield' premiered the other night at the Paramount Studios Lot in L.A.
The red carpet was full of young stars, some of which have worked with J.J. and some who are currently working with him on his new movie 'Star Trek'.
Among the stars at the premiere were Zachary Quinto, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Harold Perrineau, Ashley Tisdale, Ashlee Simpson, Lauren Conrad, Masi Oka, Michelle Trachtenberg and of course the mastermind himself ... J.J. Abrams! Oh! Lindsay Lohan was there too!

What a looser! Even his bail has been revoked!
O.J. Simpson is now heading back to jail where he'll spend the week-end!
His bail was revoked and now he awaits a hearing on Wednesday to see into the matter!
So, why has the bail been revoked? ... Documents allege that O.J. violated his court-approved bail agreement by trying to contact a co-defendant in his case.
I say it again ... What a looser!

Happy New Year 2008!
So, how did the stars ring in the new year? Most of the celebrities were in Vegas!
It must have been a night full of partying, loud music and lots of drinking ... no?
Paris Hilton & her sister Nicky toasted the New Year at LAX nightclub in Las Vegas. The sisters were later joined by their new pal, K-Fed ...
Mariah Carey was also in Las Vegas ... she partied the night away at TAO nightclub.
Ashley Simpson joined her DJ boyfriend at The Shore Club in Miami.
Avril Lavigne was at Prive Las Vegas club at the Planet Hollywood hotel. She partied like there was no tomorrow! She even popped a bottle of Champagne at midnight!
Pamela Anderson was also one of the stars partying in Vegas. Pammy was at the Pure Nightclub and ushered in 2008 with a sweet bite!

Heroes star Ali Larter got engaged to her longtime boyfriend over the past week-end.
This will be the first marriage for both. But don't get too excited! No wedding date has been set yet.
Larter has expressed her love to her beau, actor Hayes MacArthur, many times ... she said stuff like: "I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow!" and "I look forward to that time when I'm home with babies."
She also said: "I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him."

This past week-end was full of wedding bells for a couple of celebrities.
Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough and his girlfriend tied the knot on Saturday.
Howie and his girlfriend of 7 years, Leigh Boniello, got married in his hometown of Orlando.
The Catholic ceremony was held at St. James Cathedral and was a perfect event, according to wedding guests.

The second wedding was held in Los Angeles ... a rooftop ceremony at a luxury high-rise!
The groom, Scott Baio, the bride, his longtime girlfriend Renee Sloan.
The newly-married couple became parents to a tiny little girl about a month ago, so it's the perfect time to become husband & wife!
The intimate ceremony was filmed for an episode for the second season of VH1's reality show Scott Baio is 45 ... and Single, which premieres next month.

It was horrible seeing her hair-less! After that she was whisked off to rehab, twice!
Things just went down-hill for Brit from there!
Then there was Owen Wilson's suicide attempt! That was really shocking!
It was another surprise when we found out that funny man Wilson was struggling with a drug addiction!
Anna Nicole Smith's sudden death! That was horrid! God Rest Your Soul Anna.

2007 was a busy year for police departments and celebrities!
So many got busted for DUI's, trespassing, possession of drugs and lots more charges!
Who are those celebrities who have gotten mugshots this year? ... it's a pretty fat list!
The first one, who got arrested twice for a long list of charges was Lindsay Lohan.
Lilo got busted for DUI, possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended license!
