When "Flight" author Vanna Bonta was a little girl, she carried around treasures including pencils, sunglasses and a chiffon scarf in a cigar box.

The advocate of fun was once made to stand in front of the class for drawing on her desk, an obscure essay reveals. Bonta describes she was "fearful, curious, ashamed" as her classmates were made to parade past her desk and, even those who drew on their own desks, glared hatefully at her as they shook their heads!

The world-traveling actress/poet was spotted in Las Vegas this week, attending a space conference. An advocate of space settlement and philanthropy to utilize resources and intelligence to uplift humanity, Bonta took the boring out of intellectual.
The starry-eyed blond showed up to talk about exploring the stars and outer-space, she was seen arriving at the luxurious conference center at the Flamingo Casino wearing a black dress with stars!

Vanna Bonta is back in Los Angeles. The novelist-actress is rumored to be inking a production deal for the audio book production of her novel "Flight Quantum Fiction"! Soon after leaving home as a teenager and going to Hollywood, Vanna won the cameo role as Zed's Queen in the fantasy favorite "The Beastmaster" and other Film and TV parts. The prize-winning poet reportedly quickly back-peddled, opting out of the glitzy superficial for studies and remaining true to her first love, writing. Bonta's recent months of laying low in Greece, villa-hunting in George Clooney's Italian Lago di Como neighborhood, drinking double-espressos in Tuscany, and secretly meeting publishers in Milan took a back seat to the Indy 500 for the blonde poet.

She was spotted zooming around on a motorized drink cooler, flanked by two low key body guards, in near-record heat that wilted the crowd at Indy 500. After the race, Bonta headed straight for the motor homes, and unconfirmed reports claim she was treated for heat-related exhaustion.

Vanna was always ethereal, even as a little girl, claims a source who prefers to remain undisclosed. A school chum remembers Vanna's mother, a strong-willed Italian artist, wouldn't let her take the Catholic sacrament of Holy Communion until she was 8, older than the other American kids. When Vanna did receive it, she believed she was communing with God and went back to the church pew and buried her face in her hands and cried! The source remembers. "Vanna really believed it was holy communiion, she communed with God, she was crying with happiness and it embarassed her!"

She wandered about in the ruins ad gazed as if being inspired by the muses of Greece. What amazed her most was the place where the torch for the Olympics is lit, that she wanted exact explanations of the ancient times ritual when a priestess lit the torch.

Vanna Bonta is going to see the total eclipse of the sun in Genoa, she is abroad an Italian ship in the Mediterranean sea for that purpose.
Ship photographers were obviously thrilled to discover Vanna Bonta onboard. They commented she was gracious when they photographed her, but they agreed to respect her privacy during the day. She apparently jogs the ship's decks before breakfast, and suns with a notepad and pen at hand during the days, obviously at work on new books.

To the disappointment of the Italians, Brangelina haven't made an appearance in Italy! But Vanna Bonta, who was once awarded a medal for her poetry by the Italians, did!
The lovely Hollywood writer and actress was seen checking into an exclusive hotel by the beautiful port town of Genoa overlooking the Mediterranean sea. Over a breakfast of cappuccino, yogurt and brioche, she was also seen perusing villa listings.
