Now, is that cool or what? I haven't read comic books for years, but Trace is gonna make me do it again!

The final nominees of the upcoming 2009 CMT Music Awards have been announced and my favorite country crooner, Trace Adkins, scored himself two nods!

A few weeks ago, Trace Adkins announced that his latest music video was going to be 'controversial and politically incorrect'.
Well, the Marry for Money music video is hilarious and entertaining and kinda' controversial.
M4M premiered last week and I simply loved it! You'll too!

Trace Adkins heats up any place he sets foot in! And yesterday, he heated Kansas City up real good!
Trace held a concert at the Midland Theater and drove his fans crazy -lucky them- with his smash hit songs like I Got My Game On and Swing!

Trace Adkins is on the road for a nationwide tour and his fans have their bags packed and their cameras ready to start snapping away at the larger-than-life country singer!
Last week it was Huntington, West Virginia, Canton, Ohio and Reading, Pennsylvania.
Last night it was Tulsa, Oklahoma ... and what a night it must have been!

Two nights ago, country music lovers had themselves a sweet big treat in Huntington, West Virginia.
Trace Adkins held his first concert of 2009 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington.

Trace Adkins didn't win a Grammy, but I've got my hopes up for two ACM awards in his name!
The nominations were announced this morning and I was waiting to hear Trace Adkins' name and then his name popped up in two categories! Yeeha!

I was on my toes last night waiting to know whether Trace Adkins won the Grammy for Best Male Country Vocal Performance or not!
I was very disappointed to find out that he lost the trophy to Brad Paisley!
I don't mean that I don't like Brad Paisley, but i so wanted Trace to win!

Country music's big guy Trace Adkins is a Grammy nominee this year and is up for two nods; his song 'You're Gonna Miss This' is up for Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song.
What are Trace's chances of winning his first Grammy of his 12-year-career?
Could the answer depend on who he's up against in those categories?
Or is his deep voice, mind-blowing LIVE performances, southern drawl and from-the-heart songs simply enough?

This week is going to be a busy one for Trace Adkins!
He's got several national TV appearances and will grace your TV screen, so get your TIVO rough and ready!
Adkins will appear on Lifetime channel's Health Corner tomorrow. You can guess that he'll be talking about his daughter, Brianna's food allergies and how the family copes and handles that.

Today, Trace Adkins turns 47 ... Well, 47 never looked better!
This guy is like good wine; the older it gets the better it is!
He's been in the business for 12 years and he/his music only gets better with each passing year!

Larger than life country singer Trace Adkins had himself a good year.
In 2008 he accomplished a whole lot of stuff like publishing a book, nearly winning Celebrity Apprentice (he was a finalist but lost to Piers Morgan), releasing his tenth album 'X', made his acting debut in 'An American Carol' and won 2008 CMT Male Video of the Year for his song 'I Got My Game On'.
His song 'You're Gonna Miss This' was a smash hit as well, it spent three weeks at number one on country radio. Knock on wood!

I wrote about Trace Adkins' song 'You're Gonna Miss This' a few days ago and the perfect complement to that song is another one called 'Then They Do'.

In 'Then They Do', Trace sings about different everyday moments that we all pass through.
Moments that especially parents experience and sometimes get fed up of!
Sometimes you wish the kids would grow up fast so you don't have to deal with their shouting and screaming and fighting together!
When they do grow up, you start seeing less and less of them with each passing year!
At a certain point, when they become young men and women, you still can't help but see them as your babies!

Because I'm a new fan of Country singer Trace Adkins, i just got around to listening to his song 'You're Gonna Miss This'. For that matter, I wish i had known him long ago, i missed out on a lot!
In all cases, this song is a must-listen-to, not because of the tune -which is great, by the way- but because of the lyrics!

The lyrics are a wake up call to every single person, a reminder that each minute that goes by ain't coming back and we won't realize that until later, when it's too late.
We're going to miss even the simplest of things we do with our loved ones; that one time you cooked dinner with your mom, the pillow fight you had with your big brother and the shopping trip you took with your best friend.
