This is one of the days when I wished I lived in New York City where great things usually happen. One of my favorite singers, Bon Jovi, is giving a concert on July 12th in Central Park! Take note, it is a free concert! This concert is being held to kick start Major League Baseball’s 79th All-Star Game. 60,000 tickets will be distributed around the city and can be collected as early as July 2nd. Hey, that’s today! Better get your ticket now before they’re all gone. For sure the concert will be a blast. Just pray it doesn’t rain on July 12th or else the concert will be canceled.

Pop singer Jamelia is experiencing wedded bliss now that she is married to footballer beau Darren Byfield. They have been together for some years now, and finally they decided to make things legal. The couple tied the knot yesterday at the Eastland Estate in West Sussex. Jamelia looked stunning in her white bridal gown. The dress was in V-neck style, with full fishtail skirt, and a long head piece. The bouquet she carried was a real eye catcher – a mixture of brilliant blue and white flowers. This color is in honor of her hubby’s years of playing for Millwall football club.

Whitney Houston rocked morocco a couple of weeks ago!
the news of her performance in Morocco was so big that there was a fair amount of skepticism about whether it would actually happen! But it did, and the crowds got a lot more than they were expecting.
As always Whitney’s performance was elegant and enchanting and she managed to do what many stars cannot. She managed to make thousands of Moroccans, who whilst being open minded are very different from Whitney, fall in love with her.

Lily Allen is a wild girl no doubt, but lately she's been more of a train wreck than a wild thang!
She's been in Los Angeles for the past two weeks and is surely enjoying the Californian sun!
but last week, she got so drunk at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards (at which she actually won an award!) and had to be carried out to her car! She could barely walk!
That's not really nice now lily, is it?
What's happening to Lily? She seems to be following in the footsteps of other Hollywood train wrecks like Britney Spears! Is she?

Young aspiring star, Zedstar, is working real hard on his debut album.
He's finished working on a single entitled "Together Inside" and is now getting ready to shoot a music video for the single with actress/model Krista Grotte.
If you're not familiar with Krista Grotte, she's an American actress and model.
As for Zedstar, he's already collaborated with Rihanna and Britney Spears.
Fans of both stars will surely be happy with the release of the music video!

Things have been turbulent for R. Kelly these past few months.
His 'child pornography' story has been going on for the past 6 years, but it was only in the past few months that he was forced to go to court.
In short, R. Kelly was acquitted of all 14 counts and was declared 'Not Guilty'.
What led to this verdict is lack of evidence and the absence of testimony from the alleged under-aged victim.
When the verdict was out, R. Kelly cried and whispered "Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus" over and over again.

If R. Kelly was found guilty, he would have faced 4-15 years in prison and a place on the sex offender registry in Illinois!

A follow-up to U2's 2004 album "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" is coming out by the end of 2008.
The band's manager, announced this while speaking about the future projects of U2, he said that they won’t guarantee the "free listening" of their songs like other famous singers made, but that the new album will come out in October, as expected.

Yesterday night was an exciting night for Tina Arena fans in the Arab world.
Tina performed Live on stage for a huge number of audience at the Finale of the popular talent show LBC Star Academy 5, which was held in Lebanon.
Tina participated in the finale show, alongside two other famous singers, Lebanese singer Elissa and Tunisian singer Akram.
She performed some of her popular songs like Aimer jusqu'a l'impossible and Night fever.

Tina sang her songs alongside some of the contestants of the talent show, like Algerian contestant Amal B., Tunisian contestant Nader and Moroccan contestant Diaa.

I knew Tina was petite, but yesterday she appeared extra tiny! One of the contestants she stood beside looked like a giant compared to her! But, being tiny is what makes her even cuter!

Last night was a wild night in Las Vegas for country music singers and their fans at the 43rd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
The biggest award 'Entertainer of The Year' went to Kenny Chesney for the fourth consecutive time! He sure deserves it, no doubt about it!
After receiving his award Kenny said in a short speech: "This one is really extra special because long before I had a hit
 record, the fans always came to the shows. And I want to thank you guys for voting and for being there for me."
Kenny said that because this time is the first time the fans for for their favorite entertainer.
Throughout the night, Kenny performed twice, once solo and then teamed up with George Strait and they did their duet 'Shiftwork'.

Men's magazine Maxim have released its annual list of the 100 hottest women, which this year, includes the usuals and a few newcomers!
The list isn't based only on hot as in sexy, but as in talent, buzz and intrigue!
The hottest woman on top of the list is Marisa Miller, a model who you must have seen posing for Victoria's Secret a lot!
I didn't know her name, but i was very familiar with her as I'm an avid Victoria's Secret fan!
It seems Marisa is the next big thing, because not only has she topped the list, but she was the cover girl of this year's Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition!
Maxim says that Marisa "embodies the official return of the all-American supermodel".
I agree totally with her topping the list! She's perfect!

Ever since i can remember, I've been a huge Shania Twain fan. I love her, her style, her music and everything about her! She's the greatest!
Well, since the split bug is invading famous couples, Shania is the latest to catch the bug!
She and her husband of 14 years have split up.
Her rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE, he said in a statement:
"Shania Twain and her husband, music producer Robert 'Mutt' Lange, are separating after 14 years of marriage. This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time."
It's no secret (Shania herself revealed this) that the couple is quite in their characters, but they've been basing their marriage on friendship and compatibility ... seems those to ingredients have expired for them!

The Scorpions are going to hold a wild concert in Dubai on May 22nd.
The German-based group will perform LIVE on the stage at Dubai's Festival City.
The concert is expected to draw 10,000 fans, so if you want your ticket, you'd better hurry! More than 50% of the tickets has already been sold!

Ashlee and Pete Wentz were supposed to get married this past week-end, but that was rumor! The same rumor just changed dates and now it has it that the couple are going to tie the knot this week-end!
According to In Touch and Us Weekly, Ashlee and Pete are going to tie the knot on May 17th in a small intimate ceremony.
Will they or won't they? That is the question!
I guess those magazine will keep chewing on those rumors until something really happens.
Oh! There's another thing that has gone off the news meter, Is Ashlee really pregnant?
