Rosie O’Donnell is getting the kind of show she wants on the Oprah Winfrey Network. This time around she can do her show on varying topics without fearing criticisms. Since her show debuted on October 10, Rosie’s topics ranged from her renewed menopausal sex drive to the police brutality that’s happening at the Occupy Wall Street protests.
In an interview with Associated Press on Thursday she said, “I’m going to talk about things that matter as well as entertaining fun things. But we’re not going to leave stuff out. We’re going to talk about what’s current – what’s happening and what people are talking about in real life.”
Looks like Donald Trump wouldn’t be too keen with Rosie O’Donnell latest news especially since he will be seeing a lot of her on TV. Rosie O’Donnell is set to be back on TV with her own talk show on Oprah Winfrey’s Network (OWN) in 2011.
In a statement released by Oprah she expressed her happiness that Rosie is joining the network and described her as a ball of energy that is fun and will uplift the spirits all of the viewers.
Will you be happy if Rosie goes back on daytime television? Well, happy or not, she is coming back and I don’t think there’s someone stopping her. The former host of “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” has teamed up with Dick Robertson and Scott Carlin, who are both former syndication executives at Warner Brothers. The three has formed an independent company that will distribute the new show that Rosie is going to host next year.
Yesterday, Rosie O'Donnell posted a new entry on her blog, sharing her thoughts on Britney Spears.
Rosie may have a point when she emphasizes that state of fear Britney may be in ... When i come to think of it, Britney has been cornered and pressured by the paparazzi too much, maybe to the limit of scaring her.
But then again, Rosie says: "But she asked for it, she’s a public figure." ...
In her post, Rosie likens Britney's situation to Diana's last moments ... a tunnel, anxiety, panic, fear ... "are only inches of separation between vulnerability and disaster."
Rosie chastises opportunists who forced Brit Brit to take refuge in The Little Brown Chapel a couple of days ago, after her children's custody hearing. Although she arrived late to court, she did show up, but ... photographers swarmed her car in a frenzy! "I'm scared," she repeated, trying to get them to back off, then drove off and disappeared into a church.
The reality is, what is politely labeled as "celebrity bashing" these days is pretty much oppressive bullying -- some of it works therapy for people, some of it lines people's pocketbooks!

It's no secret that Rosie O'Donnell is one of the most controversial personalities in show business.
There have been some hard issues that she's gotten involved in being a talk show host, celebrity, stage actress, etc. But now she's giving people a chance to have an in-depth view of her life through the book she launched last October 9th. "Celebrity Detox: The Fame Game" talks about Rosie's life and the fascinating world she lived in being a talk show host in 'The View' on ABC channel. She also describes the total aspects of
her life as a total human being - a mother, daughter, leader, friend, sister and wife. And in this book she illustrates not only the highlights of her career but also the downs that she had to go through.
Rosie O'Donnell has turned her canons towards 'The View' co-host Barbara Walters!
I wonder where Donald Trump is at?!
Well, Rosie is telling Barbara, who is 77-years-old, that she should consider retiring!
She says: "And Barbara. At some point, a person gets tired. It's inevitable. Barbara Walters is almost twice my age. At some point it becomes necessary to step back. Everyone has to go. Going is part of the gig." ... What nerve!
Rosie says this & more in her upcoming book, Celebrity Detox, which is to be published on October 2nd.
Barbara Walters has promised The View fans, that the replacement of Rosie O'Donnell will be revealed before the show goes into it's summer break.
So, who's gonna fill in Rosie's chair?
Walters said, on air: "We are going to announce later this week who it is. So it's a big week for us."
The two main candidates are Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg & stand-up comic Sherri Shepherd.
I personally think that Whoopi would make a great addition to The View table. She's funny & she's outspoken.
Rosie O'Donnell is already on the look for a new job ... could she be the next host of the famous show 'The Price is Right' ?
Rosie tells her fans that she will be in talks with CBS for 'The Price is Right' ... she says: "If they asked me, I sure would ... I LOVE THE PRICE IS RIGHT."
Would Rosie be a good replacement for Bob Barker?
It seems not everyone thinks so! There is already a petition started for a "50-state sponsor boycott" if Rosie is chosen as the new host!
Maybe she'd be a good host for the tv show ... she's fun & would make things crazy!
ABC announced yesterday, that Rosie O'Donnell has decided to leave The View earlier than scheduled!
It's all because of the blow up between Rosie & co-host Elizabeth Hasselbeck about 'the definition of the word terrorist' the other day.
As they were discussing the term, Rosie said: "655,000 Iraqi civilians are dead. Who are the terrorists?" That's when all hell broke loose!
It has been known that Rosie & Elizabeth always clash over political issues. When it comes to politics they are enemies, but according to Elizabeth she says: "Politically, we're rivals. That is clear. However, we are personally friends. We are on e-mail all day long with each other."
But, in all cases, it seems that was the final straw for Rosie ...
If Rosie O'Donnell is going to leave The View in June ... who's going to replace her?
Some say that Star Jones will be brought back ... i really hope not!
The recent report or 'rumor' is that Rosanne Barr is going to fill Rosie's chair!
What would Rosanne do to the show? In a combination with the other ladies ... If you think about it, Rosanne is so interesting & so loud, she might give The View the needed twist ... but could she have a negative effect on the famous talk-show? Wouldn't she clash with Barbara Walters?
If you had the authority to bring in whoever you wanted ... who would you chose to fill in Rosie's place? ... Tell me why as well!
Wow! What a surprise ... NOT!
It seems this 'Trump' thing has really gone after Rosie & will end her career in The view!
Rumor has it ... A strong rumor has it that Rosie O'Donnell will announce tonight that she's going to leave The View.
She'll continue filling her seat at The View table until the season is over.
Do you think Rosie should leave the show? ...
I mean it wasn't a pretty thing she did at that event the other day ... Telling Trump to "Eat Me" & grabbing her crotch! In public & embarrassing Barbara Walters! ... I don't think that's funny or nice!
We have all been witnesses to the feud between Rosie O'Donnell & Donald Trump, which by the way seems never ending! But I think you will agree with me, that Trump sending a 'bustier' or 'giant panties' as they have been described, that were once worn by Rosie, to Barbara Walters is just plain SICK! These items were actually worn by Rosie during the 1994 movie 'Exit to Eden' and Rosie, being the charitable person she is, allowed them to be sold in an auction where the money went to charity. A fan bought the outfit, framed it and mailed it to Trump to hang up in his office! What sorta' joke is that?
She's not gonna stop! I don't know why! ... She ain't leaving Donald Trump alone!
Rosie O'Donnell has ended the attack-free holiday & compared Donald Trump to 'a pimp' & things didn't stop there, he called her 'a degenerate'.
O'Donnell posted a message on her blog on Wednesday ... what a message that is: "beauty pageants where women were paraded around, judged valuable or not by old white men ... it is always old white men. Remember the seventies, a young girl in nyc meets a pimp ... he cons her into a life of illusion, she works for him."
Donald Trump gave Miss USA Tara Conner a second chance ... & that made Rosia O'Donnell attack him!
Yesterday on The View, Rosie revealed that she wasn't impressed by The Donald & called him a 'snake-oil salesman' & said that he 'is not a self-made man'.
Now that sparked a war between Rosie & Trump ... He is now considering suing her ... !
