The fourth sequel of the Terminator movies is underway and shooting is in the works.
the movie is entitled Terminator Salvation and takes us through the story of John Connor in his 30's.
John, who is played by Christian Bale, leads what is left of the human race against the machines.

When I watched a movie at the cinema some time ago I saw the movie trailer of Mamma Mia being shown. From the bits of the movie I saw, it seemed like a funny movie to watch. Well, it is a funny musical movie. It is packed with all ABBA songs as you can probably predict from its title. Critics say that this is the worst musical movie ever, but it’s hard to hate because of its humor. So, what’s the story about? Basically, the story unfolds when twenty-year-old Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) invites three of her mom’s old flames to her wedding in Greece, with the purpose of finding out who among them is her father.

Heath Ledger’s death in January came as a shock to us all. And now, the showing of Dark Knight reminds us even more of the loss of a great actor. Heath Ledger played the role of The Joker in Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Returns. His great acting prowess was proven and appreciated when Dark Knight had its premiere at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square. His director and co-actors in the movie all agreed that Heath’s performance in the movie is unlike any other. Director Chris Nolan even called Ledger’s acting as “iconic performance” and that he brought a unique style to his role as The Joker.

How about another dose of superhero movie? “Hancock” is a superhero movie that you have to watch out for. But be warned that it is not like any typical heroic movie like Iron Man or even Superman. Hancock, played by Will Smith, is a drunken super hero with an attitude problem. Among the things that make him stand out is his superhuman strength and the fact that he is bullet proof. The start of the movie will keep you entertained with all the comical things Hancock does in his clumsy manner. Together with this hilarity, you also have to be ready for some violence, though it’s rated PG-13 there are some gruesome scenes.

I guess sometimes I'm just behind the news! It’s a shame I was not able to catch Camp Rock on TV. This is one of the most-watched programs in Disney Channel, coming a close second to the High School Musical 2. And due to its success, Disney is now planning a sequel to Camp Rock.

The company’s target date for production is in 2009, either late spring or summer. The original cast will still be in the sequel. Fans can get to see more of the heartthrobs Jonas Brothers – Joe, Kevin, and Nick; so with Demi Lovato.

Mike Myers has never been anything but over the top! This is exactly what can be said of his latest movie The Love Guru and his character Guru Pitka.
When there's a funny movie starring Myers, one should expect funny and vulgar ... so it ain't no surprise that that's what you get from The Love Guru!
There's also one point that turned heads, it's a stereotyping of Hindus in the movie! It all depends on how you see things, just funny or mean spirited?

The story is about a Guru who is out to teach the world how to spread the love and to show them that the key to enlightenment is through love.
The movie hit big screens yesterday and the first impressions have been widely diverse.

Burn After Reading is the upcoming Brad Pitt / George Clooney movie!
It's an entangled story of blackmail that becomes kinda' funny! Well, it's really funny actually!
It's going to premiere this summer, in August at the Venice Film Festival.
Alongside Pitt and Clooney, John Malkovich, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand also star in the R rated movie.

Here's an idea about what the movie's all about; a trainer at a gym finds a CD in one of the lockers and uses it (because it's full of CIA info) to blackmail the ex CIA agent who forgot it at the gym! The plot gets more entangled that you might think!

Speed Racer hit cinema's yesterday ... did you go see it?
I'm asking because the movie is 2 hours long and if i recall correctly, when the cartoon was airing the one episode was about 20 minutes, and by the time i reached minute 17 i was dozing off already!
Speed Racer is inspired by the 60's cartoon by the same name and is directed to seventh graders! Yes, Matthew Fox plays Racer X, but i won't be going to watch him in that!
Other big names are cast in the movie, like John Goodman, Christina Ricci and Susan Sarandon. But, i still won't go watch it! Sorry!
Maybe the trick is in the number of kids going to watch Speed Racer, maybe they'll be enough to turn things around and save the movie from being a flop!

The latest movie that's creating a lot of buzz today is none other than "Iron Man". On its Premiere in New York last Monday night, big stars flocked to the theater. Well, the actors of the blockbuster graced the red carpet; Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and director Jon Favreau. They all glided on the red carpet at the Tribeca Grand screening room for the event that was hosted by Michael Kors and the Cinema Society. The main character in the movie, Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, was played by Robert Downey Jr. Conflict in the story happens when Tony Spark fights with his ex-business partner Obadiah Jones, which is played by Jeff Bridges.

I am a big fan of the Terminator movies, especially because Arnold Schwarzenegger is the Terminator!
The first two movies were great, the third was good, but wasn't up to my expectations ... now i hear there's a 4th sequel and I'm afraid it'll be a flop!
One of the reasons i say it'll be a flop is that Arnie isn't in the movie! Would you want to see a Terminator movie without the original terminator?! I wouldn't! But, I'll give it a chance ...
Well, Terminator 4 or 'Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins', will start filming this May in New Mexico and is scheduled for a 2009 release.
The main character is John Connor, played by Christian Bale. Connor will be one of the few survivors of a nuclear holocaust and will be leading a group of those survivors to stop the machines from finishing the job!
As for the Terminator, it's rumored that actor Josh Brolin will be taking the part.

George Clooney had his fingers crossed as his latest movie Leatherheads opened in theaters across the US this past weekend ... Please score big at the box office!!!
Well, it seems things didn't turn out like Clooney would've liked ... Leatherheads didn't draw much crowds and it earned $13.5 million in its opening weekend.
Most of the people who turned out to see the movie, were in their 40's ... an age group that doesn't tend to run in a frenzy to catch a movie as soon as it opens in theaters!
For this movie to become a flop, there must have been something very wrong ... but what is it? ...

The movie that beat Leatherheads is Kevin Spacey's gambling movie, which is inspired by a true story, 21.
21, which stars Kate Bosworth alongside spacey, earned $15 million in its second week of release.

Stephen King's 'The Mist' was recommended to me by many friends and when i read the reviews on the net about it, my husband and i were persuaded to get it and watch it.
As it's an adaptation of King's novel, i was sure it would be over the top, awesome and fantastic! A movie worth owning ... but at the end of the movie i was utterly disappointed!
The beginning of the movie is great; a family, a house on the lake and a town getting engulfed by a dense mist ... definitely creepy!
But then as the creatures from within the mist start appearing ... what the heck is this? I get a strange feeling that it's going to turn cheesy!
Ok, mist, unworldly creatures, people getting killed in the mist and people trying to survive ... what's new? What's so fantastic about this?
To say the truth, i watched the movie in bed, and i tried not to doze off while i was watching ... so, i didn't miss anything important ... but when i saw how the movie ended ... i really wished I'd slept through the whole thing! I hated myself! I hated the TV screen and i hated my husband for nudging me all the time to finish the movie! I hated Stephen King! AAAHHH!!!

I have been waiting for anything about Hugh Jackman’s movie Wolverine for, like, forever!
Wolverine was the sexiest character in X-Men and I went crazy when I found out that there will be a movie about him!
Jackman’s movie is entitled X-Men Origins: Wolverine and it’s set for a May 2009 release.
The cast includes many big names like Liev Schreiber as Sabretooth, Dominic Monaghan as Blackwing, Daniel Henney as Agent Zero ,Taylor Kitsch as Gambit and Will.i.am as Kestrel.

I must say, I have nothing against Taylor Kitsch, but I was hoping the rumors of Josh Holloway taking the past of Gambit were true … Darn!

I really like 007 movies ... since i was a kid and my brother was so into James Bond, he wouldn't miss watching it at the movies no matter what! I guess i got the bug from him! Thanx Bro!
Although i thought Daniel Craig would make a lousy James Bond, turns out i was wrong! He makes a very sexy Bond! I mean, Pierce Brosnan was sexy, but this dude is it!
I watched Casino Royale twice and i couldn't get enough of the details! ... I hope Bond 22 or Quantum Of Solace will be as good and even better! I hope they push the limits of stunts and action scenes!
