I grew up watching Star Trek, i caught the bug from my older brother who used to never miss an episode.
It was very exciting when i read that a new Star Trek movie was in the works and that the guy behind Alias and Lost, J.J. Abrams, was directing it.
Yesterday is watched the trailer of Star Trek and found it to be kinda' off!
The characters are more rebellious and hostile than the original ones; it seems the calm personalities of Spock and Kirk have changed and have become more like your everyday jerk! In the trailer, a young Kirk is seen driving madly and getting into trouble with the police and Spoke is seen picking a fight! Spock was always cool and stayed far away from fights as possible! Remember? Oh! We'll actually get to see the cool Spock, Mr. Leonard Nimoy, in a special appearance!
It's true that in today's standards, the original Star Trek may seem boring and silly, but that's not really how Star Trek fans see it.
It's that 'something' that makes it special and that we want resurrected!

Jason Statham is back and he's hotter than ever in the third installment of Transporter.
Frank Martin, who drives his own car, has a dangerous mission to transport a very important package -as always- from Monaco to Odessa, Ukrain ... it all sounds familiar and the rules are the same but one; this time Frank has a rigged wrist bracelet on which he cannot remove! If he does or even tries, it goes BOOM!
As for the job this time, he has to deliver the kidnapped daughter of a Ukranian government official, Valentina, safely! Along the way there are a bunch of people who want to intercept him and to make things harder, he has to control himself and not get involved with his package!

The movie is based on a true story and is set to hit theaters near you on October 24th.

She stars alongside Ralph Fiennes in the movie that depicts the life of a royal couple who have the love life of two chilled hot water bottles!
In not so many words, the movie focuses on Georgiana who simply can't accept her social role as a loveless baby-maker and takes a bold step of reaching out to her old lover Charles!
The story sounds intriguing and should make a suspense-full movie, but according to many critics it's not as explosive as it should be! I've even come across a report that says the movie focuses on the costumes more than on the character conflict!

Leo and Kate heat up the screen as a married couple trying to solve their personal problems and raise two kids at the same time.
The movie is based on a novel by American novelist Richard Yates.
On another level, Kate revealed that she felt awkward during filming a sex scene with Leo in the movie, especially that her husband Sam Mendes was directing!
She said: "I just kept saying, 'This is too... weird.' And Leo was like, 'Oh, get over it.' And I'm going, 'Yeah, a little reminder: You're my best friend. He's my husband. This is a bit weird."

I'm not sure what was going through the minds of the crew who worked on the new Star Wars movie The Clone Wars!
There's a certain charm to the original Star Wars movies and even the three new ones weren't bad at all! But a 3D movie? That's kids play!
I am a major fan of Star Wars and seeing another one in 3D isn't what i expected!
If George Lucas wants to make another Star Wars movie, then make a real one with real people and great special effects and graphics, don't make a silly 3D animated one! He gets a big Boo from me!
The story of the movie is interesting; Obi-Wan Kenobi and a not-yet-evil Anakin Skywalker out to rescue the son of Jabba the Hutt. It could have been a great movie if it weren't animated! Kids will surely love it, but not the real die-hard Star Wars fans!
Please Mr. Lucas, Stop this crap and if you really want to make another Star Wars movie, make a real one with real people and great actors!

Nothing moved Dark Knight from it's top rank in the box office a couple of weeks ago, but it seems Tropic Thunder will do just that and will be a huge smash hit!
In its first day, Tropic Thunder grossed $6.5 million and that's a lot! this means, it will bring in a lot more this weekend.
Tropic Thunder sparked a boycott call from advocates for the developmentally disabled,
but being a war story in a comedy frame, it will handle a lot of controversial issues and the R word is one of them!
and because of this groups including the Special Olympics and the Down Syndrome Assn. of Los Angeles say the character and dialogue abundant use of the word 'retard' are offensive and sure to fuel schoolyard taunting!
Never the less, it seems this will help with the ticket sales!
I'm sure the Stiller-Black combination will be a blast! And seeing Robert Downey Jr. as an Australian actor obsessed with being black is sure to draw tears from our eyes!

Have you heard of the upcoming movie Tropic Thunder? It’s going to be out tomorrow, August 13. This is a film about a group of actors making a war movie. Tropic Thunder seems to be a great comedy film where prominent names come together. It’s going to be a riotously fun movie what with Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Nick Nolte and Matthew McConaughey bringing and giving all they got in the movie. When you look at the poster, you will easily recognize Ben Stiller, so with Jack Black. Now where is Robert Downey Jr.? Well, if you’re looking for a hunky white guy you’d find it hard to find him because he portrays a black guy. Really, surprising huh?

I’m sure this will cause a huge stir. In fact you have to get ready for it right now because the life of the 43rd US President will be heading your way in the movie entitled “W.”
This Lionsgate movie directed by Oliver Stone portrays the important events in George W. Bush’s life and how he ended up in the White House. In the movie trailer the first thing you’ll witness is a young George W. Bush, played by Josh Brolin, gambling and having fun in a club, then getting himself arrested for crashing his car into a house. You can see him being led into jail while in his Yale sweatshirt. There was also a scene with his father, wherein the older Bush (James Cromwell) was reprimanding him for his atrocious behavior. Josh Brolin looks perfect for the part as the George W. Bush during his younger days.

Do you miss watching X-files? It’s been some time since we saw or heard anything about Mulder and Scully. That’s natural since six years has passed since the TV series finished off and ten years after the movie “X-Files: Fight the Future”. Maybe some of you will be glad to know that Mulder and Scully got together again in solving more crime and paranormal incidents in the new movie “The X-Files: I Want to Believe.” Agent Fox Mulder was called in from his pursuits of paranormal cases to solve the mystery of the disappearance of an FBI agent in West Virginia. This also goes for agent Dana Scully who now lives a life of domesticity working in pediatrics at a Catholic Hospital. The life they are living now is so different from exciting and full of action life they had before. I would think that they are glad to be called in again to another mission.

The fourth sequel of the Terminator movies is underway and shooting is in the works.
the movie is entitled Terminator Salvation and takes us through the story of John Connor in his 30's.
John, who is played by Christian Bale, leads what is left of the human race against the machines.
I guess Christian Bale is a good choice as John Connor. What do you think?
