Madonna and Guy Richie have been the target of divorce speculations for some time now.
Rumors said that their marriage is on the rocks and that they are consulting divorce lawyers to get on with the proceedings. They said that Madonna is consulting Fiona Shackleton, the one who also represented Paul McCartney and Princess Diana. But, Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg immediately put a stop to that by confirming that the couple is happy together. Likewise, Guy’s mother also denied any talk of divorce between her son and Madonna.

Rumors about Madonna's marriage being on the rocks have been on and off for a very long time now.
But things have gotten fishy when a few days ago, Madonna hired one of the toughest divorce lawyers in England!
Madge met with this lawyer at his London office just over ten days ago.
According to British site Holy Moly, Madonna has hired Nicholas Mostyn QC to kick start divorce proceedings against her hubby of eight years, Guy Richie!
It seems the reason for this drastic measure is simply that Madonna and Guy have drifted apart and nothing more!
They have spent increasing amounts of time apart with both Madonna's new album and tour and Guy's revived movie career.

I always liken Madonna to Angelina Jolie when it comes to her soft spot for children. Madonna fought and won the battle for her right to adopt African toddler David Banda.
The Malawian judge handling the case finally ruled in favor of the pop star.
I must say that the decision made last Wednesday at Malawi’s High Court is long overdue. Madonna’s fight to adopt little David Banda started in October 2006; it’s already 2008 now, that’s almost 2 years of waiting and fighting! But now it’s all over, victory for Madonna is already at hand!

Madonna's influence in the music industry can never be doubted. Though she's already nearing 50, she is still continuing with her craft. She just released her new and totally hip album Hard Candy. In her new album, Madonna takes on pop like a pro should, and the result is a spirited and playful dance-pop music that will make you groove. But she did not come up with this new album alone, she enlisted the help of other artists who are into urban-music like Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate "Danja" Hills.

As Madonna's adoption process of Little David is about to be fully over and all things legalized, she's got a plan for another adoption.
Madonna seems to have her heart set on adopting a girl this time ... maybe an Indian one.
According to The Sun newspaper, Madge is all for adopting a little Indian orphan, although her hubby Guy was against it! You know, Madge can convince a rock to speak!

One can't speculate that Madonna is doing this to get some of the spotlight on her, instead of it on Angelina Jolie ... a lot of people seems to be convinced that she's doing that for that purpose! But why not think that she's really out to do some good and is all for spreading some compassion and some motherly love to orphans who need it?
I can't get inside Madonna's heart ... but i don't like to doubt the good intentions of people.
If she's doing it for the sake of doing good and to help humanity, then Kudos!
If she's doing it for other purposes ... then i won't judge her ...
I'll keep the positive idea ... that's much better.

The first of Madonna's new singles has debuted on iTunes today and it's the song in which she collaborates with Justin Timberlake!
The song is unbelievably addictive ... if you listen to it once, you'd want to listen to it for another couple of hours!
The music video is also very attractive! Madonna and Justin share a sexy sci-fi sorta thing ... where they trade verses, dance-moves and kisses ... they also share a small striptease moment and a liplock ... oooh!
As for the '4 Minutes' ... there's a huge clock that counts down those 4 minutes ... but what exactly are those 4 minutes? The last 4 minutes of ... (fill in the black with right word) !!!

She's on Interview, Vanity Fair, Elle (UK edition) and Elle ... talk about a Madonna craze!
Ok, she's releasing her new album, Hard Candy, on April 29th ... but all this?! I'm not against this, but isn't it a tad bit too much?
Madonna talks about a bunch of stuff in those interviews like, her kids and adopting little David from Malawi and on being fabulous and famous!
She also opens up about her marriage and her relationship with hubby Guy Richie.
In Elle, for example, she talks about how little David is the apple of everyone's eye in the house.
In Elle (UK edition), she talks about her favorite candy! She says: "One of the worst things about Britain is that it has such fabulous candy. I love Cadbury Fruit and Nut, Crunchies and Maltesers. But my absolute favorite is a Cadbury Creme Egg. I bite straight in to it and suck all that good stuff right out!" Yum-O!

I never wondered who was the richest singer in the business ... but for some reason i was shocked when i found out it was Madonna!
I was also shocked when it turned out that Barbra Streisand came in 2nd!
Forbes.com made a list of the top 20 "Cash Queens of Music" and Madonna tops the list with a whopping $72 million!
Barbra Streisand comes in at No. 2 with $60 Million and at No. 3 is Celine Dion with $45 million.

Reuters reported yesterday that Madonna is planning a fund-raising event with dinner, a musical performance and a party, that will benefit UNICEF and the charity she co-founded, Raising Malawi.
Madonna will team up with Gucci and will host the fund-raising event on February 6, 2008.
Why that date? Well, to mark the opening of Gucci’s largest store in the world, on New York’s Fifth Avenue!
Madonna said in a statement: "I am grateful that Gucci is joining forces with me to bring attention to a country with millions of children in desperate need of our help. Raising Malawi has already done tremendous work in helping these children. But we have much more to do and this event will surely bring us closer to our goal."
If you haven't heard of Raising Malawi before, it's a charity that focuses on trying to end the poverty and hardship suffered by Malawi's one million orphans, many of whose parents died of AIDS.

Loads of celebrities went to Israel to celebrate the Jewish new year there ... so, it wasn't much of a surprise seeing Madonna there too. She's like a 'big kahuna' when it comes to Kabbalah!
But, it was shocker when i heard that she announced herself an ambassador for Judaism to the world ... especially when she isn't Jewish!!
Madonna & her hubby Guy Richie went to Israel to attend a Kabbalah conference on the occasion of the Jewish new year. There she relaxed, attended the conference & made her dream come true; she celebrated the Jewish new year with President Shimon Perez!

Celebrity production companies are starting to pull their socks up and Madonna’s company Maverick is joining in and has teamed up with Madison Road Entertainment to look for the next ‘Big Shot’ which will also be the name of the show that begins this September! The idea is that the companies get sent videos of people who aspire to be actors, performers, magicians ... etc. and using a draw they put an assortment of these videos online where viewers, like you and me, can vote on their favourite!

On the 24th of April 1982 Sire Records released the single ‘Everybody’ by an unknown female artist from Michigan. This artist is now the world renowned and amazing Madonna! Many have described Madonna as an inspiration and although I am very careful with who I find inspiring, I think the mere adoption of a child from Malawi is recognizable! ‘Everybody’ Madonna’s first single became a massive hit and was on radios and dance floors in 1982 and Madonna continued to amaze us with more of her fabulous music.

There were a few reports last week about Madonna was intending to go back to Malawi to adopt another child, but it seems these were only rumors.
It is true that Madonna is going back to Malawi, but that's not for purpose of adopting another child, but for some charity work she's been planning on doing.
Madonna's rep Liz Rosenberg said: "Madonna is indeed going to Africa to continue her work with the Raising Malawi organization. She is overseeing the building of a children's health care center."

Justin Timberlake has been busy working on some lyrics ... Not for him, but for Madonna!
JT was spotted with Madonna heading into a London studio yesterday, so it's not a rumor, this is serious!
He said it himself: "I have been working on some new music. But it's not for myself - I'm writing for other people. I'm working on some stuff for Madonna."
This means Madonna is working on a new album, which will be a collaboration between her & Timberlake ... I guess that songs are going to rock! I mean Madonna is genius & Timberlake's latest songs are fantabulous! So, the two getting together for an album will definitely be a smash hit! Cool!
