There have been several rumors that Johnny Depp wasn't going to return in the fourth installment of Pirates of The Caribbean next year and that Jack Sparrow was getting a new actor to play him!!! It's a relief to know that all that was just hot air and nothing but silly rumors.

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have been a couple since 1998, they have two kids together and they seem to get along perfectly. They actually make a perfect couple and seem very compatible!

Yesterday at the Golden Popcorn event of the year ... i mean, at the MTV's movie awards, Johnny Depp was a big winner and took home two Golden Popcorn awards for best comedic performance as Captain Jack in Pirates of the Caribbean and for best villain for Sweeney Todd. Congrats Johnny boy!
Other big names to get awards were Will Smith for best male performance, Ellen Page for best female performance in Juno, Robert Downey Jr. for Iron Man, Zac Efron for breakthrough performance in Hairspray and Adam Sandler got the MTV Generation Award. Transformers was chosen as the year's best hit and Megan Fox accepted the award and promised that the sequel will be even better, she used the words "f****ng bad***" !!!

Johnny Depp's career skyrocketed after his role in the 1990 movie Edward Scissorhands. Would you believe that originally the role of the freaky character was going to go to Tom Cruise?!
Oh My! What sort of Edward would have Tom given us? Surely not the same one Depp has!
Johnny Depp is THE perfect actor to play all these freaky Tim Burton characters, no one can do them better!
But at the time, Tom Cruise was an A-lister, while Johnny Depp was just a TV actor! Maybe the producers thought an A-lister would do the movie good ... but they changed their minds and gave the role to Depp instead. Which, no doubt, was a great decision! It was then that the relationship between Depp and Burton started, and we all know what the yielded.

Rumor has it, he's spilled out about $2 million for a luxurious Art Deco penthouse apartment in Los Angeles!
The apartment's animal-print décor and funky furnishing seems to have appealed to Johnny! It also boasts private decks, views of the Bernadino Mountains and access to a rooftop swimming pool.
The pad is in the newly renovated Eastern Columbia building, which is considered one of the city's landmarks.
If this is true, Depp will be neighbors with TR Knight & Ryan Gosling.

At the premier of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End in LA yesterday, Johnny Depp & Keith Richards were THE pirates of the red carpet!
The two stars greeted swarms of crazed fans as the wore similar outfits! They hugged & it was like 'father & son' sharing a moment.
The other stars of the movie -Orlando Bloom, Geoffrey Rush, Bill Nighy- also made an appearance, but it was leading lady Keira Knightley who was MIA!

Johnny Depp & Vanessa Paradis have two cute little kids, Lily-Rose who is 7 & John Jack who is 4.
But Lily-Rose is seriously ill & has been in a hospital in England for some time now. I'm not sure what she's got, but her dad & mom are very worried about her.
Johnny & Vanessa have been staying at their daughter’s bedside since she got ill.
A source at the hospital says: "Lily is a very sick little girl and Johnny has hardly left her side. It is heartbreaking for him to see her in this state ...

What's great about the People's Choice Awards is that the winners are 100% chosen by the people!
Johnny Depp & Keira Knightley lead the winners during the 33rd annual award show two nights ago.
Jennifer Aniston & Cameron Diaz both received awards that will definitely cheer them up after matters of the heart have brought them down a bit!
Among the other winners were Ellen DeGeneres, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Nickelback, Justin Timberlake, Eva Longoria & Patrick Dempsey ... Oh! & Halle Berry as well.

Nominations for the People's Choice Awards were announced Tuesday at the Peninsula Hotel.

Johnny Depp leads the nominations with 3! He is in the categories Male movie star, Male action star & On-screen match-up with Keira Knightly in Pirates of The Caribbean.
Results will be broadcast on January 9th 2007.
