It's sad what some celebrities will do to stay in the limelight! In 2008 Joaquin Phoenix said -perhaps jokingly- whilst on Letterman that he would be retiring and focusing on his 'hip-hop'! And it gets worse: apparently he's got Casey Affleck directing a documentary entitled 'I'm Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix'. The movie is meant to tell the story of his retirement and his (failed) attempt to break into the world of hip-hop.

Well, at least I'm hoping it's the real Joaquin Phoenix!

Joaquin Phoenix and his Walk the Line co-star Reese Witherspoon have earned themselves a CMT Music Award nomination for best collaborative video of the year. And might claim their award at a ceremony in Nashville on April 10th.
The video, which is their version of the Johnny Cash/June Carter Cash tune Jackson, was taken from the movie in which both actors did their own singing.
