MTV Movie Awards 2013 Winners
The MTV Movie Awards 2013 held on Sunday was a lot of fun for fans and actors alike for it was a night where the fan favorite movies were recognized. The Sony Pictures Studios where the event was held reverberated with exuberance especially with Rebel Wilson, who hosted the event, showing spirited performance that kept the audience entertained throughout the night!

But I’m sure you’re curious to know who made the cut at this year’s movie awards. Well, first off, “The Avengers” got the most awards including Movie of the Year, Best Fight and Best Villain.

The biggest names in country music attended the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas last Sunday night. I’m sure that for the losers it was a night they’d rather forget but for the winners, it was a night they will surely remember for a long time.

It was definitely a night to remember for Miranda Lambert who took home the most number of awards. She took home three namely Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for her “Over You” with Blake Shelton.

Some of our favorite actors and singers got covered in green slime at Nickelodeon’s annual Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday. It sure was a fun night at the Galen Center because of the performances rendered by Christina Aguilera, Pitbull and Ke$ha.

But the highlights of course were the winners that were decided by 387 million votes from 22 countries. Despite her difficult and controversial year, Kristen Stewart got two awards last Saturday! She was awarded favorite movie actress for Twilight and favorite female buttkicker from Snow White. Although she wasn’t sprayed with green goo, Kristen got some when she hugged presenter Sandra Bullock who was covered in it.

Sunday night was a huge night for mane at the SAG Awards 2013.
Some winners were easily predicted, while others surprised!
The winners are now up a notch on The Oscars predictions and have more chances than others to take home the precious Golden Boy!
So, who were the BIG winners of the night?
Daniel Day Lewis is no stranger to Best Actor Awards and this time around he won for his role as American president Lincoln.
Tommy Lee Jones also nabbed the Best Supporting Actor award for his role as Republican Thaddeus Stevens in Lincoln.

Excitement and great expectations were in the atmosphere during Sunday night’s 70th Golden Globe Awards as outstanding works on TV and film were honored! Hosted by comedians Tina Fey and Ay Poehler, this year’s Golden Globes was filled surprises like the appearance of former U.S. President Bill Clinton who introduced “Lincoln.”
Anyhow, you’re probably eager to know if your Golden Globe bets made it. Let’s see. In the movie category Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress in a Motion Picture: Comedy of Musical in “silver Linings Playbook.” Anne Hathaway on the other hand took home Best Supporting Actress in “Les Miserables.” “Django Unchained” actor Christoph Waltz won Best Supporting Actor and Hugh Jackman took home the Best Actor Award in a Motion Picture: Comedy or Musical. “Argo” won Motion Picture Drama and “Les Miserables” as the Best Comedy or Musical.
The Hunger Games Take the Lead at the People’s Choice Awards

Wednesday night was an exciting time for musicians and artists because of the 39th annual People’s Choice Awards! The awarding ceremony held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles saw “The Hunger Games” take home five trophies! That’s the highest number of awards anyone got.
70th Golden Globes Nominees Announced
The 70th Golden Globes will air next year January 13 with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler taking the reins as hosts. But the most important question is who will be competing for the coveted Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Picture and others?

Worry not because the roster of nominees has been announced. Thursday’s announcement revealed that “Lincoln” takes the leading number of nominations! This film starring Daniel Day-Lewis Tommy Lee Jones and Sally Field has seven nominations and these are: best drama, best director, best actor, best actress, best supporting actor, best screenplay and best original score.

Since its conception four years ago, the Doha Tribeca Film Festival has come a long way in terms of feature films, content and attendees. This year’s Doha Tribeca Film Festival opened on Saturday and will run until November 24. Those of you who want to catch up on what’s happening at this year’s DTFF still have enough time to check it out.

Day 1 of the festival opened with a press conference of the movie “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” which takes up the topic of cross cultures. Mira Nair, who directed the film, was present to answer questions regarding the movie. The film was showcased that night.

Until now Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber’s stars are shining brighter than ever! Evidence of this is the fact that they took home most of the awards during the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday!
Taylor, who looked super gorgeous in her J. Mendel gown, won Best Female, Best Live and Best Look awards! I’m sure you’ll agree that she deserves all of them. On the other hand, Justin was hailed Best Male, Best World Stage, and Best Pop. Sadly, he wasn’t able to attend the event.
And the 40th Annual AMA Nominees Are ...

Rihanna and Nicki Minaj have been in the headlines all week, not in a positive way though. But today, it’s all about positive vibes as the two got the most nods in the American Music Awards nominations! That’s right. Fans will be happy to know that they both got four nominations each for the 40th annual AMAs.
Homeland, Modern Family Big Winners at the Emmy Awards 2012!

Sunday night was the moment of truth for various TV shows and TV actors and actresses! The Emmy Awards 2012 held in Los Angeles held some unexpected turns like the fact that “Homeland” swept the Outstanding Drama Series from “Mad Men!” This would have been “Mad Men’s” fifth straight win.

Big congratulations to our favorite “Twilight” stars! They brought some of the biggest recognitions during the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday! Among the honors they won is the Teen Choice Awards’ Lifetime Achievement honor! They also took home Choice Movie Romance. The major Twilight stars Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson were present to accept the surfboard at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles.

Sunday night was a super fun night for so many celebrities as they took part in the MTV Movie Awards at the Gibson Amphitheatre! It’s fun for us too because some of our favorite stars got to take home the gong!
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1," the movie that moved our hearts last year, was hailed Movie of the Year! I’m sure you all saw the movie and were witnesses to the fabulous kiss that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart shared so, you’ll understand how they got the Best Kiss Award! Rob wasn’t able to attend the event so Kristen accepted the award instead. To make the crowd happy, Kristen pretended to kiss and hug the air.
