Britney Spears should be thanking her lucky stars that the judge in her custody case hasn't taken her kids from her!
What the judge ruled is in favor of all people concerned; Britney & K-Fed & the little kids!
The judge found that "there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by Britney." Thus, he has ordered Britney "to undergo testing for the use of controlled substances and alcohol."
Testing will be conducted randomly twice a week.
K-Fed, on the other hand, has also gotten a few rules to go by! Ha!

Today on Britney Spears : Lots of Sacking!

Lots of stuff has gone down for Britney Spears in the past two days ... the latest one is being dropped by her management company!
The management company, The Firm, who was hired a few months ago, decided to 'terminate' their business with Britney. They issued a statement saying: "We have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears. We believe she is enormously talented, but current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job." Oh! They put that into such a diplomatic sentence! But it still hurts, right Brit?
Ok ... more sacking! Britney's lawyer, who went with her to court yesterday, has also left Brit's side!

Today is an important day for Britney Spears; she's in court as her custody battle with ex-hubby K-Fed kicks off.
Britney & K-Fed share custody of their two children, Sean Preston & Jayden James, 50/50, until this minute!
Britney is aiming at 70% of custody ... but will that happen?
On the other hand, K-Fed's lawyer is reportedly bringing a secret witness to court & this could blow any chance that Britney has with the kids! He's also seeking 70% of custody.
But, rumor has it that Britney has a plan up her sleeve; offering a multi-million dollar deal to K-Fed in an attempt to secure joint custody of SPF & JJ!

So, why was Britney Spears' comeback performance at the MTV Video Music Awards this weekend a total screw-up?

According to Page Six among other sources, Britney didn't rehearse enough & was totaly careless about the dance moves!
It seems Britney arrived hours late to Saturday's rehearsals, with a Margarita in her hand! When she managed to do a few moves, the difficult ones had to be removed because she couldn't do them!

I was waiting for the opening performance of the MTV VMA's yesterday, because i wanted to see the much awaited Britney Spears comeback ... which was to my disappointment, much less than what i anticipated!
Britney was supposed to shock everyone, show them that she can fast rewind to her old self & make the needed comeback ... but that didn't happen!
She did manage to shock, not in the needed way, but in the sense that she doesn't seem ready for a comeback; she was nervous, inconfident & less than her usual self on stage.
As one might say, she was only a shadow of her former self!

Britney Spears arrived in Las Vegas today and has installed herself in a $25.000 a night villa at the Palms Casino Resort!
Britney is in Vegas for the VMA's ... as you might already know, she's going to be the opening performance that everyone is waiting for!
Britney was recruited by MTV to perform at the awards & will be starting the show with her new single 'Gimme More' from her much awaited comeback album.
VMA executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic tells MTV.com: "You can expect the things we want and expect from Britney – that will all be there. What I've see of it is great. She'll be dancing, performing, dong her thing. That's exactly what we all want."

Entertainment Weekly has got the scoop & they report that although the come-back album is still unnamed, the new single "Gimme More" a dance track that music insiders are going to love.

It seems Britney is coming back strong & in a new 'funky' style!

Why didn’t the police arrest her? … When asked why she was speeding, Brit used a good yet dumb excuse: "I was being chased by the paparazzi."

Britney Spears has been without a manager for some time now ... she fired Larry Rudolph because she says he's the one that 'forced' her into rehab.
Britney has sobered up to the fact that she needs a mega-super manager to take her to the comeback she needs!
So, Britney has hired Jeff Kwatinez of The Firm to help her.
Kwatinez was working with Kelly Clarkson, but she fired him earlier this year.

Britney Spears is Totally Divorced!

It is official! Britney Spears & K Fed are 100% divorced ... it was announced today.
TMZ have the details: "Just minutes ago, Spears’ lawyer, Laura Wasser, and K-Fed’s mouthpiece, Mark Vincent Kaplan, walked into court — final papers in hand — to get a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge to sign-off on the settlement, making the divorce final."
So, the deal will go down like this:
Britney will give K-Fed $15.000 a month in child support, she will also give him $20.000 a month in spousal support.
Britney and K-Fed will share a 50/50 custody agreement when it comes to the kids.

Britney Spears is getting positive feedback from her fans from her small concerts she's performing in House of Blues around the country.

No Comeback for Britney Spears?

Sources have reported that Britney Spears was supposed to perform with a group under the name of The M&M’s in San Diego, Anaheim and LA, her first performance was supposed to start tonight. It looked like all was well according to the owner of the Club where she was supposed to perform, he said: “She came on stage during rehearsals, looking very hot, with four back-up dancers and sang three songs. All we have heard about Britney Spears for a while is bad news of rehab and partying, but now it seems Britney is taking things into her own hands by firing her long time manager Larry Rudolph. Britney Spears is out of rehab ... Now she can go back to her normal life & usual activities. Hopefully, this time sans the hard partying & drinking!

Britney Spears has finally finished her month-long program at Promises Malibu Alcohol & Drug Rehab Treatment Facility & has checked out of rehab today.
Spears' spokesman & manager said in a statement: "Britney Spears has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Centre after successfully completing their program."
While in rehab, Britney got an effective treatment plan that was developed especially for her by the clinical team to assure a successful recovery.

Britney Spears is at last seen having fun in rehab! She was spotted exercising & playing tennis with a friend on a court on the premises of Promises center.
She seems happy & has that old look back on her face; the one of the fun & joyful Brit Brit.
The good thing is that Britney looked comfortable.
I hope this means that she'll really be back to her old self after the rehab program ends.

Britney Spears is still in rehab & it seems she's actually getting better ... At least the new photos taken by X17 show what looks like a healthier Britney.
She's seen walking on the 'Promises' premises, wearing a long hair wig, dressed in a green dress & drinking coke.
The photo might trick us into thinking that she does look better, but we hope she actually is.
The wig she has on looks so real, if I didn't know that she has her hair shaved off, I'd think that was her real hair!

Post-Partum Depression? That makes sense! For the first time, this is a logical reason for what's happening to Britney Spears!
She has baby SPF, then suddenly she's pregnant again & has baby Jayden James ... the girl hasn't taken a minute to breathe!
According to TMZ, the doctors at the rehab center where Brit is have two theories about what's wrong with her, one is Post-Partum Depression & the other is bipolar disorder.

Kevin Federline managed to bring Sean Preston & baby Jayden James to visit their mom Britney Spears while she's in rehab.
When K-Fed went to visit Britney during the week-end at Malibu rehab center 'Promises', he brought their two boys so that they could see their mom & she can see them.
This was the second time Federline has visited Britney.
I guess it's a good thing for her to see her boys ... This should help her feel better ... I hope!

His visit wasn't a short one, he stayed for about one hour & a half! Could it be that he really cares about her?

As for Britney, there were reports that she's on "suicide watch", but that turned out to be just another horrible rumor ... her manager Larry Rudolph made things clear, he said: "The story is absolutely untrue. It still isn't clear whether Britney Spears will be present or not!
It isn't known what issues K-Fed plans to raise, but according to People, he will try to convince the court that whatever he is concerned about is so urgent that it needs to be fast-tracked.
It seems the state that Britney has been in for the past few weeks, has concerned K-Fed ... He must be concerned about the boys ...

I'm not sure whether this is only a rumor or not! But, 'Extra' claims that pop star Britney Spears is actually entering a rehab facility in Miami!
It seems after Britney left New York four nights ago on a private jet, she headed to Miami & disappeared! -to rehab maybe?!-
If that's true, then she's going to sober up to the fact that she's responsible for two little kids who need lots of love & caring from their mom!

Britney Spears & Kevin Federline have agreed on custody arrangements of their two little boys, at least for January! According to some papers aquired by People mag. Spears will have custody of Sean Preston & Jayden James most of the time, but Federline will be allowed to see the boys three times a week for four hours between Jan. 12 & 31 at Spears's residence.

Friday night was not so good for Britney Spears.

Britney Spears was seen out & about last night with music producer "J.R." Rotem.
Britney & "J.R." went out & stayed out till around 3.30 am!
The two went on what seemed to be a date, dinner & a movie ... That's when the two decided to go home ... to his place!

A few months ago, Britney Spears sported black hair ... then she went back to her original blonde color.

Britney Spears has gone wild since she filed for divorce from hubby Kevin Federline ... but it seems she hasn't turned an eye on all what the news is saying about her & her actions.
Britney posted a message to all her fans & all those who think she's partying too much on her official website, she sais:
"It's been so long since I've been out on the town with friends. It's also been 2 years since I've even celebrated my birthday. Every move I make at this point has been magnified more than I expected, and I probably did take my new found freedom a bit too far."
Britney also brings up the matter of her wardrobe malfunction! she says: "Anyway, thank God for Victoria Secrets' new underwear line!"
She finished by saying: "I look forward to a new year, new music and a new me. I'm just getting started … Happy Holidays everyone!"
