I wondered a few weeks ago, if Katie Holmes will be starring in the upcoming Batman movie ... & if not, who will replace her ... well, it seems that Maggie Gyllenhaal is the one.

Elizabeth Hurley & fiance Arun Nayar got married on Friday in a secret ceremony, which is a day before the lavish celebrations & star studded parties on Saturday.
Today, the first ceremony, was a religious one at the 15th-century Sudeley Castle ... stars like Elton John were present there.

Yvonne De Carlo Dies at 84

You might know her better as Lily Munster ... she's the vampiric but beautiful wife of Herman Munster in the 60's American sitcom The Munsters.
Although the comedy lasted only two years, it had a long life in syndication & resulted in two movies, "Munster Go Home!" & "The Munsters' Revenge."
De Carlo died on Monday in Los Angeles, her son was at her side.
Her health had been in deterioration for some time & she died of natural causes.

Marcia Cross ordered to rest in bed!

Although sexy redhead Marcia Cross is up for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy or Musical, the Desperate Houswife is going to be MIA at the Golden Globes next week! Now, the reason is as follows:
Cross, who is expecting twins in April, has been put on bed rest by her doctors.
There's no real problem with her pregnancy, but it's only a precautionary measure.

The Daily Mail lets the news out, they report that Kirsten & Orlando were together at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles last week & they 'were kissing and cuddling in the corner of the lobby bar and didn't seem to care who saw them. They even stayed past closing time because they were enjoying each other's company.'

X-Files star Gillian Anderson gave birth to her second baby on November 1st.
Anderson welcomed baby Oscar in London, he weighed about 6 lbs, 8 oz.
The arrival of Oscar wasn't announced until last Saturday Nov. 18th.
Now, here's the twist; rumor has it that Gillian will be facing a paternity test because her estranged husband Julian Ozanne is suspicious as to whether the baby's biological father is himself or Gillian's current boyfriend Mark Griffiths!

Hilary Duff’s Stalker Gets Arrested

I guess one of the fears that celebrities have to live with in being a public figure is stalkers. Yes, the latest victim of celebrity stalking is no other than Hilary Duff. Yup, who wouldn’t recognize her? First from the being Lizzie in the Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire shows, to different roles in various movies and now to being a pop star.

The police arrested the 18-year-old Maksim Myaskovskiy on the counts of stalking and issuing unlawful threats against Hillary Duff. This man is now being held in jail for a bail of $200,000. It was not disclosed whether Myaskovskiy already has a lawyer for the arraignment on Tuesday.

Anna Nicole Smith, Penelope Cruz & Shakira

Anna Nicole Smith is still suffering from pneumonia & is still in the hospital in the Bahamas.
Smith checked in Monday & according to her attorney Wayne Munroe, she has had fluid drained from a partially collapsed lung.
Munroe said: "She's doing a lot better, but when you would have a collapsed lung, they would keep you in."

Penelope Cruz might be in for an Oscar for her role in her latest movie Volver.
After a lot of reviews of the movie, Cruz seems to be getting a lot of serious recognition for her role as Riamunda, a single mother of a teenager & trying to survive on her own.

Reese Witherspoon & hubby Ryan Phillippe have announced that they are going to go their separate ways!
Their representatives released the statement on Monday saying that Witherspoon & Phillippe are separating after more than seven years of marriage; "We are saddened to announce that Reese & Ryan have decided to formally separate. They remain committed to their family & we ask that you please respect their privacy & the safety of their children at this time."
Their marriage was reportedly on the rocks for some time, but everyone thought these were only rumors.
Witherspoon, 30, & Phillippe, 32, met at her 21st birthday party. They got married in June 1999, & they have two children, 7-year-old daughter Ava & 3-year-old son Deacon.

Brad Pitt is going to team up with Sharon Stone for a movie about the Watergate scandal.
The movie is entitled Dirty Tricks & it focuses on the wife of Richard Nixon's attorney general John Mitchell, who was responsible for bringing her husband's actions to light.
The cast not only includes Pitt & Stone, but also Meryl Streep, Annette Bening & Gwyneth Paltrow are set to have important roles as well.
According to Ryan Murphy, the director of Dirty Tricks, the movie is really about the women in Watergate.
It seems Academy Award-winning director Ron Howard is also working on a Watergate movie, his entitled Frost/Nixon, which focuses on David Frost's 1977 television interviews with former United States President Richard Nixon.

Lindsay Lohan & Keira Knightley in One Movie

Keira Knightley’s mom Sharman MacDonald, has written a movie by the title of The Best Time of Our Lives. The movie is about an incident involving Welsh poet, Dylan Thomas, & his wife in which one of her childhood friends & her husband opened fire on their house.
The two ladies to take the lead roles in this movie are Lindsay Lohan & Keira Knightley.
But what’s really interesting is that Lindsay & Keira will have a lesbian relationship in the movie!

It's a Pitt Dunk as Brad Produces Julia Roberts

Writer Elizabeth Gilbert reportedly turned down many actresses seeking to play her memoirs "East, Love and Pray," but Brad Pitt has swooped in and scooped the rights to produce the film, with Julia Roberts to star.

Pitt's Plan B production company has "Nip/Tuck" creator Ryan Murphy on board to adapt the book to screen, and direct.

Roberts co-starred with Pitt in Ocean's Eleven and The Mexican. In this role, Roberts will play Gilbert. The story is she had it "all" -- or what she once considered that: a husband, big apartment and a weekend home. While trying to get pregnant, she realized this was not fulfilling, nor what she wanted. A painful divorce ensures, and she takes offf to find herself, spanning four countries in the global journey.

Didn't we call it? There are plenty of headlines about Halle Berry playing a white woman in "Class Act" and the climate seems to think that's just fine. And now that Angelina Jolie is playing a black woman in "Mighty Heart," protests are yelling that it isn't fair, that they should have found a black woman, like Halle Berry, to play the role.

An inside source on "Class Act" reported that the filmmakers felt it was important to find the right actress to play the role, rather than the right white actress.

Reese Witherspoon Into Middle East Movie Thriller

Another Middle East political thriller is in the works. Reports say that Reese Witherspoon will star in the story of a Cairo CIA analyst who's life gets turned upside-down when he watches the Egyptian Secret Police interrogate a foreigner. Reese is reportedly set to play the pregnant American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer living in the US who is arrested and sent to a third-world country as a political prisoner.

Gavin Hood is set as Director of the movie being called Rendition. Production is slated to begin this November in the U.S., Morocco, and Gavin's native South Africa.

Longoria & Parker are an ordinary couple!

Every couple goes through a rough patch every now & then, & that doesn't mean that their relationship is over!
This is what happened with Eva Longoria & her beau Tony Parker; they had a few bad days & that was all.
A few days ago, it was reported that the couple have suddenly split up, & that they are no longer being seen together in public, but that was just a rumor, -it seems-.
Eva Longoria told E! News' Ryan Seacrest that she & Tony have not officially split & that she is flying to Paris to join Parker in France, where the NBA star is playing some exhibition games.

While in the Galapagos Islands, Elizabeth Taylor put on a mask & snorkel, plunged into the Pacific Ocean & swam in a Plexiglas shark cage with real sharks.
Later Taylor described the experience as "the most exciting thing i have ever done".
Taylor says: For someone who has been in bed with a bad back, I have done all the things I've dreamed of. I did get into that shark cage. It was the most exciting thing I've done in my life.

It seems now that Drew Barrymore is 31, she has been getting the feeling of starting a family & being a mom.
She revealed that she would like to start a family & have kids, whether giving birth to them or adopting them.
Drew gives an interview to In Style Magazine & says: I definitely feel the beginnings of a tick tock, whether I have children or adopt – whatever form a family comes in, I would absolutely love to have it.
The cute thing about Drew is that she hasn't been hit by the fact that she's a grown up!
She says: Am I going to walk home from work one day … and realize I'm a homeowner? That I run a production company and have responsibilities and a long-term relationship? All of those things are so adult. I keep wondering when it's going to hit me. Maybe it never will. And that's okay.

Kate Hudson & Husband Split up

Actress Kate Hudson & her musician husband Chris Robinson have decided to split up after nearly six years of marriage.
The couple met in New York City in May 2000, and moved in together. They got married on New Year's Eve 2000 after dating for about a year. In 2004 their son, Ryder Russell, was born.
Just last month, it seemed everything was fine with the couple. Hudson told People magazine: "I can sip on the same cold cup of coffee all day long. It just drives him nuts. My mom –actress Goldie Hawn- actually does the same thing and it drives Kurt –Russell- nuts too."
No reason was given as why the couple has taken such a drastic decision.

The 'Gattacal' actress divorced ex-husband Ethan Hawke amid rumors he was cheating on her. Since the painful split, the exotic talent admits she guards her feelings.
"I've been excessively cautious or paranoid," she told a newspaper, but admitted that now she's opening up, even though she's nervous about the price she could pay for a mistake.
"I found the publicity and paparazzi difficult to take as a young mother," she said. "I've always been aware that every time I've lost my temper, every time I've flinched, I've paid for it, and I'm conscious of the cost - and my own responsibility

Jennifer Garner was shooting her latest movie “Kingdom” in Phoenix last week when she fainted because of the heat.
The temperatures reached around 110 Fahrenheit & she had already over exhausted herself.
Garner was taken to hospital & tried to get in touch with her hubby Ben Affleck, who flew from Massachusetts to the desert as soon as he heard the news.
Garner was released the next day and spent time relaxing with Ben before returning to work at the film set.
