Lane Garrison Awaits Sentence

'Prison Break' star Lane Garrison has finished his 90-day psychological evaluation at California Institute for Men in Chino & has been moved back to Twin Towers jail in downtown Los Angeles last Friday.
Garrison is now waiting for the results of the evaluation, which will show if he's suitable for probation.
Wow! 90 day ... that's 3 months! Are those 3 months going to be calculated with his future sentence? I mean, they should be, he did serve them in a correctional facility after all!

Tobey Maguire & Jennifer Meyer Get Married

In Touch is reporting that Mr. Spiderman himself, Tobey Maguire tied the knot yesterday in a secret ceremony in Hawaii.
Maguire supposedly married his baby momma & fiancee Jennifer Meyer.
The two have a 9-month-old daughter, Ruby.
The ceremony was attended by only a hanful of the couples friends, including Leonardo DiCaprio.
If this is true, then ... Congratulations to the cute couple!
Tobey & Jennifer have been together for four years, they announced their engagement in April last year, shortly after Jen became pregnant, then she gave birth to Ruby in November 2006.

Jude Law Arrested in London!

Jude Law got himself into trouble yesterday just in front of his home in London! Jude allegedly attacked a photographer, who suffered minor injuries after Jude tried to grab his camera!
He got arrested & attended Marylebone police station where he was held on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, which of coarse, he denied!
His finger prints were taken & he was let go on bail!

Owen Wilson Goes Home

It's been about a week since Owen Wilson attempted suicide ... he's been hospitalized & his family has been by his side ... but he was sent home to recuperate yesterday.
Owen's rep didn't comment on the actors physical & mental health ... but a close source to Owen says: "Owen is in bad mental shape but said he is thankful to be alive. He knows he came close to ending his life, and he is happy that he was saved from himself. He is basically at home with people watching him 24/7."

Heath Ledger & Michelle Williams Break Up !!!

I just can't believe this! After three years together and a tiny little daughter, Matilda ... Heath Ledger & Michelle Williams decide to break up!
This is such an unexpected sad surprise!
Those two seemed like the perfect couple and with Matilda, they seemed like the perfect little family.
But things between them have gotten rocky ... although they tried to patch things up, it didn't work.
The good thing, at least, is that the split up is amicable.
There won't be any ugly after-split-up stuff!

Owen Wilson Drops out of Tropic Thunder

It's really a pity that such an actor like Owen Wilson, would get into a whirlpool like the one he's in now!
Because he's recovering from his suicide attempt, his 'everything' has been put on hold! He has dropped out of the comedy Tropic Thunder, which also stars Ben Stiller.
Variety reports that this decision was taken by both Wilson & Stiller.
The thing is, it is still unknown whether Wilson will be replaced or if his role will be dropped from the script! Ouch!

It was a Suicide Attempt!

The other day, when i wrote about Owen Wilson being hospitalized, i didn't believe reports that he attempted suicide! Never in a million years, did i think a guy like Owen would loose all hope in life & would venture into taking his own life!
But ... unfortunately i was wrong.
The police confirmed this today, they said that they responded to an attempted suicide at Owen Wilson's house.
The 911 call that the Santa Monica police department received from Owen's house, was logged as "Attempt Suicide".
I have nothing more to say, but ... Get Well Soon Owen.

Owen Wilson Hospitalized!

Butterscotch Stallion isn't feeling well!
He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Sunday afternoon after suffering from dehydration.
But the fishy things is, reports also say that he's going to go to detox ... it's been claimed that he just came out of a suicide attempt! The Enquirer reported that Wilson had sliced his left wrist and took an indeterminate amount of pills!!!
I don't believe that version, it's always easy to slip in a few rumors when a celebrity gets hospitalized!
Later in the evening, Wilson's brothers Andrew and Luke, as well as his parents, were seen at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

Lane Garrison should be given slight credit for pleading guilty on charges of vehicular manslaughter ... But, how much will he really serve when charged? Will he face the music & serve the whole six years, eight months? Or will he get a bit of mercy from the judge?
Well, yesterday was a full & hectic day for Lane ... It was a stressful few hours in court & an even more stressful few minutes in the hot seat of the stand!
So much was said during the hearing ... Witnesses from Lane's side & from the victim's side testified ... Lane's tragic childhood was also put out for all to see.

Morgan Freeman to play Nelson Mandela

Who better to play Nelson Mandela than Morgan Freeman?
Freeman is going to take on the character of leader Nelson Mandela in an upcoming movie entitled "The Human Factor". It will look at Mandela's public and private life in the first year of his presidency, when South Africa was just emerging from years of apartheid.
The movie will be based on an upcoming book, The Human Factor: Nelson Mandela and the Game that Changed the World by journalist and author John Carlin.
A release date is not yet set, but production will begin in early 2008.

Turns out Mel B wasn't only speculating when she said that Eddie Murphy was the father of her now 3-month-old baby girl!
Murphy denied but underwent a DNA test ... which proved that he is actually the biological father of Mel B's daughter Angel Iris. Spice girl Mel B was 100% sure that her baby was Murphy's ... but he accused her of sleeping around! Boo to you Eddie!
Although Murphy dumped Mel B while she was still pregnant, after taking the DNA test, he vowed to 'do the right thing' if the baby turns out to be his & take care of her.
What irony ... Angel Iris was born on April 3rd, which is also Eddie Murphy's b-day!

It seems the world is really falling apart for 54-year-old David Hasselhoff!
His wife of 16 years has left him, he is being accused of abuse and alcoholism and now a video of him drunk has aired all over the internet and TV! The footage shows David lying on the floor shirtless and clumsily eating a hamburger whilst obviously under the influence. The video was shot by his 16-year-old daughter!
His kids had permission to film him during a relapse and this was shot during a time-span of around 36 hours.

The Tudors Jonathan Rhys Meyers Enters Rehab

Star of Showtime's The Tudors, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, has checked himself into rehab.
Meyers, who starred with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen's Match Point last year, has decided to enter rehab in order to maintain his recovery.
His rep says: "After a non-stop succession of filming Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program. He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery."
Meyers' schedule has been stuffed lately, he has only recently finished shooting his latest movie August Rush with Keri Russell, Terrence Howard & Robin Williams.
But he plans to continue working on his current projects as soon as he finishes the rehab program.

As I’m sure you all knew today is the International Earth Day (yes our planet has a day) and Arnold Schwarzenegger is celebrating it by going on MTV to promote the new environmentally friendly vehicle which is an 800 horsepower car that runs on renewable fuel! The Governor filmed an Episode of the popular show ‘Pimp my Ride’ which will air Sunday in the spirit of Earth Day. In this Episode the mechanics replaced the engine of a 1965 Chevy with one that runs on Renewable and biodegradable fuel.

Its seems paternity battles are the ‘new pink’ for celebrities because just after we thought it ended with the announcement that Larry Birkhead was the father of Anna Nicole Smiths baby another paternity battle emerged. This time the two parties are: Mel B, the former Spice Girl, and Eddie Murphy. The baby girl in question was born in St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica and is apparently ‘healthy with a good head of hair’.

Lane Garrison Pleading Guilty

The famous Prison Break Star Lane Garrison will be pleading guilt to vehicular manslaughter obviously for a shorter sentence. The charges against him were put forward when on December 2nd he ‘lost control of his SUV’ which lead to the death of 17 year old Vahagn Setian and the injury of two 15 year old girls. But that’s not the scary part, Lane Garrison was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, his blood- alcohol level was double the legal limit, and has supplied alcohol to the minors who were in the SUV with him.

That's it! The end has come for MTV's Punk'd.
Ashton Kutcher decided to pull the plug on his prank show, Punk'd.
Kutcher said in a statement: "We have had an incredible time doing the show and have decided to stick with the old adage of 'leave 'em wanting more."

Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Terminator, The Governor ... or The Governator ... broke his leg on Saturday while on a skiing trip!
Schwarzenegger was on a ski trip with his family in Sun Valley, Idaho & while skiing down a slop he had an accident that resulted in taking him to the hospital for x-rays!
He was released a few hours later, but he suffered from a fracture in his right leg ... Poor Arnie!

Wesley Snipes has been wanted for weeks now by the federal authorities for tax evasion. They claim he failing to pay nearly $12 million in taxes since 1999.
Snipes was arrested this morning after arriving at Orlando International Airport from Namibia.
Snipes said he was a scapegoat & was targeted by prosecutors in connection with a federal tax fraud investigation.
But it seems Snipes actually fell for a scheme that claims that you can put all your earnings in a false 'Constitutional Trust' to avoid tax payment. In 2002, Snipes filed an amended return claiming zero income & asking for $7.4 million refund, that was when he was first discovered & cited! He did it again!

Affleck says: "I was a little bit exhausted of myself & my life, so I wanted to try to control it or manage it. I took about a couple of years off, definitely for a full year I didn't do anything."

His latest movie 'Rocky Balboa' demanded of him that he goes on a strict plan of 'No Sex' until the project is done.
Why? ... Sylvester explains: "There is only so much energy in the body and I know some athletes in the film didn't adhere to the ban, but I did because I knew it was the only way. The people I know who fight all stick to a sex ban because if they don't they lose. I hear David Beckham says he doesn't, but maybe he's the exception!"
Sly also says that it isn't easy: "Of course it is hard to do, but that's why you fight so well. You are aggravated you just want to get it over with."
None-the-less, Sly was happy to stick to his plan, because he had no energy left for the bedroom after his grueling daily training regime!

Snipes Charged on Tax Fraud

Action man Wesley Snipes has been formally indicted with conspiracy and tax fraud, federal officials announced. Prosecutors said Snipes wrongly claimed almost $12 million in refunds in 1996 and 1997 on income taxes already paid.

The funniest and most ironic part about all this is that the 44-year-old Blade cannot be found! Does this ring a bell? I can’t help getting flashbacks from “US Marshals” (1998).
"We made an attempt to contact him through his attorneys and now with the news conference," said Steve Cole, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office for the Middle District of Florida.
"Maybe he'll find out from the media and turn himself in."

The American Cinematheque Award is given to those actors who contribute significantly to motion pictures.
Last night, that award was given to the Oscar-winning actor, director and social activist George Clooney, during the 21st Annual American Cinematheque Award Show held in The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Clooney got praised by many of his colleagues such as Julia Roberts, Morgan Freeman & Ellen Barkin. And because Clooney is an active political figure as well, famous politicians such as Bill Clinton, Al Gore & John McCain, congratulated him via tape message.
Others attending the awards were Julianna Margulies, Salma Hayek, Cindy Crawford & Lindsay Lohan.

Remember earlier this year when superstar Mel Gibson was arrested for drunk driving? The reason the media went crazy was that the actor and award-winning director addressed the words "Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world” to the police officer who made the arrest.

Well now Braveheart-Gibson is working hard to prove that he is not anti-Semitic as he’s been accused of in the past. His movie “The Passion of the Christ” (2004) received criticism for alleged anti-Semitic imagery and connotations. Gibson has strongly denied that the movie is anti-Semitic, but critics remain divided.

On This Day a Superman Was Born

Today is actor Christopher Reeve’s birthday, the man who played Superman in the Superman movies during the 80’s. As you know, the actor suffered a paralysis after a horse riding accident which left him in a terrible state until his death on October 10th 2004.
This man was my childhood hero and my most beloved actor of all time. His nice-guy appeal and decency was unmatched by any other of his kind. And yes, as you know another Superman hit the big screen this summer with a beautiful movie “Superman Returns.”

Bill Murray’s Birthday

Comedian Bill Murray celebrates his 56 birthday today. He’s one of my favorite funny-men of all time. I don’t know what I like so much about this guy. I first recall laughing at him in Ghostbusters 1984 as Dr. Peter Venkmen. His style has always been the wise-guy, smart-mouth where all things go right for.
If he had perused his ambition of becoming a doctor, we would never have seen Murray on the silver screen. He joined Regis College in Denver to study pre-med, but dropped out after being arrested for marijuana possession. Lucky for us!
It’s also interesting to know that he Broke Robert DeNiro's nose during the production of the movie “Mad Dog of Glory” (1993)

George Clooney & The Darfur Crisis

George Clooney addressed the UN Security Council members at an informal briefing organized by the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity yesterday.
Clooney warned the Council of Darfur genocide! Especially that at end of September, the mandate of African Union peacekeepers in that region will expire. He said: “ After September 30 you won’t need the UN You will simply need men with shovels and bleached white linen and headstones.”
He also said: “ The US has called it genocide, for you it’s called ethnic cleansing. But make no mistake – it is the first genocide of the 21st century. And if it continues unchecked it will not be the last.”

Ben Affleck in Hollywoodland!

It seems Ben Affleck's come-back is looking good! At the Venice Film Fesival, Affleck was named best actor in his movie HollywoodLand.
In this movie, Ben portrays late actor George Reeves, who played Superman on TV.
HollywoodLand is the story of a detective who examines the mysterious death of George Reeves.
Lots of critics say that Ben's performance is worth seeing, but the unfortunately the box office returns on Hollywoodland are dissapointing. It took in only $1.8 million over the weekend.

After actress Kate Hudson announced that she & her husband are separating, rumors started flying about that Hudson & her You, Me & Dupree co-star Owen Wilson are having an affair!

Jack Nicholson to knock down Marlon Brando’s house

Jack Nicholson bought Marlon Brando's home, which is on Los Angeles’ Mulholland Drive, shortly after his death two years ago. Nicholson said he wanted to maintain it for the late actor’s children.
Now, it seems Jack has taken his word back! The rumor is that he's planning on knocking it down!
Apparently he wants to plant flowers on the site of the $6.5 million property.
But it seems he 's still going to respect Brando’s memory as one of Hollywood’s greatest stars, because he's going to plant frangipani yellow flowers, which the house was named after by Brando.
According to British newspaper The Sunday Times, Nicholson made the decision because restoring the house would be too expensive.

The summer of 2007 will be full of sequels! Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Ocean's Thirteen, Spider-Man 3 & Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer are just some of the titles. Add to those the 4th sequel to the famous action movie Die Hard: Live Free or Die Hard!
Bruce Willis will be coming back as John McClane & he will save the world once again! This time from a modern terrorist threat; an attack on a US computer network that could bring the country to a standstill.
Die Hard 4 is set for release on June 2007.

Mel Gibson Disney Holocaust Series Cancelled

A miniseries about the Holocaust that Mel Gibson was developing with the ABC television network has been pulled. The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday quoted an unidentified representative for the network.
Last week Gibson was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. Reports claim Gibson shouted tirades against Jews, asked the arresting officer if he was a Jew, and blamed Jews for starting all wars.
The actor's father is a Holocaust denier, and Gibson holds conservative Catholic religious and political views. He apologized on Saturday.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Offers Tony Blair a Job

California governor & actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has offered British Prime Minister TONY BLAIR a part in the potential Terminator sequel.
Arnold, who starred in the original three movies, is concerned the Blair may struggle finding jobs after his term in office ends!
Speaking after a global warming discussion with Blair on Monday, Schwarzenegge suggested: "If he wants a job in Hollywood I could get him to play Terminator 4."
Blair says: "That's definitely the best offer I've had. Actually, the sad thing is, it's the only offer I've had."
Tony Blair is expected to stand down as Prime Minister before the next British elections by 2010.

A source says: "They realize it's important to be as 'un-Hollywood' as they can."
In Boston, they'll be close to Ben's mother Chris, who lives in the area along with a number of other relatives.

Mel Gibson Arrested for Drunk Driving?

It seems Mel Gibson was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department in Malibu early this morning for suspicion of drunk driving!
According to the police, Gibson was pulled over for speeding in his Lexus, then was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Bail was set at $5,000 & he was released later in the morning.
A sheriff's official says that Gibson had a blood alcohol level of .12. The legal limit in the state of California is .08.

Daniel Craig will be Bond 22

Although there has been a commotion over Daniel Craig starring as the 21st & newest James Bond in Casino Royale, Craig's "license to kill" has been extended!
Bond producers Michael G Wilson & Barbara Broccoli have announced that Daniel Craig is now confirmed for the upcoming Bond movie, entitled Bond 22. Although there has been no plot planned for the movie just yet, it is set for release on May 2, 2008.

Robert De Niro & New York Observer - No Deal!

Robert De Niro's plan to buy New York Observer didn't go through after all! He has given up on owning a newspaper for now.
It seems the talks between a film-enterprise group headed by De Niro & the owner of the New York Observer have failed & are not expected to be resumed.
Craig Hatkoff, one of the founders of the Tribeca Festival, has confirmed that talks have come to a stop and won't be resumed. He says: "Unfortunately we couldn't come to acceptable terms."

Actor Bruce Willis sued an L.A. Photographer for $1 million in damages.
According to the paparazzo, Willis shoved the camera in his face, cutting his nose & chipping his tooth!
Willis defends himself and says that the only thing he did was put his hands up in front of his face to avoid being blinded by the flashes.
The lawsuit claims Willis suffered damages to his reputation as well as shame, embarrassment & humiliation to the value of his name, likeness & goodwill.
The paparazzo, which is known as a stalker- paparazzi, claims he filed a complaint to the police, but the police said they had no knowledge of the incident.
