Happy Birthday Britney! Today Brit Brit turns 27!
Although Britney celebrated a tad bit early while in London the other night, today she's definitely going to celebrate after she does her much awaited b-day performance on Good Morning America!
Hopefully, this new year will be a good one for Britney, marking a real comeback.
And this happy occasion coincides with the release of her latest album 'Circus'!

Britney shares her b-day with other celebrities like Nelly Furtado, Lucy Liu, Def Leppard's Rick Savage and tennis player Monica Seles.

During 2008, many celebrity photos made a huge buzz and some were even considered controversial!
The most talked about photo was the one where Miley Cyrus posed with her back bare and wrapped only in a satin bed sheet!

Britney Spears just finished her first performance at the French talent show 'Star Academy'.
Britney kicked off the show with a performance of her chart topping song 'Womanizer' from her new album Circus.
I was surprised that Britney gave the exact same performance she gave yesterday in Germany! The only difference is that she wore something red over her black shorts!
In all cases, it was nice seeing Britney on stage again, but she was singing in playback and moved even less than in her German performance! Why?
She didn't do any interesting moves and just walked around! As if she was afraid she was going to slip on stage because of her high heels!

Britney Spears received a Bambi Award last night at the German Bambi Awards which were held in the German city of Offenburg.
Britney received a trophy for Best International Pop Star.
Brit also performed her chart topping song 'Womanizer' (Watch video here) and seemed to be doing much better than the last time we saw her perform (at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards).

There's just one thing i wonder about, where did all of Britney's moves go? Why does she just prance around the stage? Why doesn't she do any of those moves she used to?
You must remember how she used to do complex and difficult dance moves in the past? Right?

Britney looks so good and it's like she's come from the past! from the days she was on top of the world!
I'm optimistic about Britney getting her life back and getting back on track. She looks good, she's got a new 'much awaited' album coming really soon, she's back on magazine covers in a positive way and she seems determined to make a comeback in all aspects of her life!
In the Rolling Stone interview, Brit talks about her kids Sean Preston and Jayden James, and how she's been seeing them more often now.
She says: "Every time they come to visit me, I think about how they're such special people. They are starting to learn words like 'stupid', and Preston says the f-word now sometimes. He doesn't get it from us. He must get it from his daddy. I say it, but not around my kids."

In an upcoming documentary entitled 'Britney: For The Record', we follow Britney around for three months as she does her best to pull her life back on track and works on her new album 'Circus'.
In the documentary Britney speaks candidly about her breakdown and how she sees herself then and now.
One of the interesting things she reveals is that she actually feels very lonely at times. she says: "Sometimes I think I get kind of lonely because you don't open the gate up that much, you know I mean? You're guarded. You have to be that way, so I'm kind of stuck in this place and it's like: How do you deal? And you just cope, and that's what I do. I just cope with it, every day."

Britney Spears was awesome yesterday at Madonna's Sweet & Sticky concert in L.A.'s Dodger Stadium.
It was the third song of the night; 'Human Nature', from Madonna's 1994 Bedtime Stories album.
Britney looked really good in black pants and a white ruffled satin shirt and Madonna was as great as always!
They sang together, enjoyed performing together but there was no lip-lock this time! There was a small kiss on the hand as Britney finished up and left the stage.

Just 38 minutes ago, and right after her appearance with Justin Timberlake at the Madonna concert, she wrote: "Just left the Madonna concert. It was really fun! ~Brit"

A couple of months back, there were rumors of a collaboration between Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, but all was rebuked by both sides!
This time around, Ryan Seacrest has confirmed the news once and for all, and has set the record straight about this upcoming collaboration.
Yesterday, Ryan clarified that Madonna is the reason behind this reunion and that she and the exes are going to perform together on stage as part of her Sticky & Sweet tour.
The trio will perform together at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles tonight!!
Wow! This will be something!

On October 31st, Britney Spears spent one heck of a Halloween with her kids ans she dressed up and went trick or treating with them! Isn't that cute?!
Britney disguised as a witch, with black hair and the pointy hat, took her kids Sean Preston and Jayden James (who were dressed up as a turtle and a lion) trick or treating before she got ready for a Halloween party held by Drew Barrymore!
Brit's dad, Jamie, was also with the gang, and he was dressed up in a spooky clown outfit! Yikes!

The cover shows a beautiful Britney framed in stars and colorful stripes.
Her newest single, Circus, was also mentioned and according to Team Britney, the single is an up-tempo track! Cool!

Britney Spears still needs a tad bit of guidance, so thinks the court!
It was a few months ago that Britney's dad Jamie got full control of her assets. You remember, when she went coo-coo and was admitted to hospital/psychiatric ward a couple of time?!
Well, this deal was supposed to expire on December 31st, but the court has ruled that it be permanent!
The cool thing is, Britney didn't mind! Things were explained to her and she doesn't mind that her dad will be in full control of her estate, finances, legal affairs and medical care.

Things are going pretty well or Britney Spears. She’s making a great comeback in the music scene. And now she just had her case dismissed. A mistrial was declared by Judge James A. Steele after the jury came into a deadlock with 10 not guilty and 2 guilty for driving without a license. The jury was given three days to deliberate and it seems the jury of Britney’s peers found it hard to decide, thus the 10-2 decision.

You will recall that it was all over the internet when Britney got arrested for driving without a California license. That was back in August 2007 when she got involved in a fender-bender incident. Though she didn’t have a California license, Britney’s Dad testified that she had a Louisiana license during that day because she considers Louisiana as her permanent residence.
