The marriage between Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt is now over.

A judge has signed off on the divorce of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, but under California law, the former golden couple’s split won’t be official until the 2nd of October.

The pair were married on July 29, 2000 in a celebrity-studded ceremony in Malibu and they separated in January after more than four years of marriage.

American Idol judge Paula Abdul will remain with the hit Fox TV series after an investigation found no proof that she had an affair with a former contestant Corey Clark or helped him on the talent show, the network said Friday.

Lawyers who investigated claims by unsuccessful contestant Corey Clark of a sexual relationship with Abdul could not substantiate his allegations, Fox said.

Paula Abdul, therefore, can continue as a judge on American Idol, the network and series producers said in a statement.

Canadian-born anchorman Peter Jennings, host of ABC's "World News Tonight" died on Sunday, five months after he announced that he had been diagnosed with lung cancer.
He died at his home with his family around him, he was 67.
Jennings had a 41-year career with ABC, and established the first American television news bureau in the Arab world in 1968 when he served as ABC News' bureau chief for Beirut, a position he held for seven years.
