Madonna's influence in the music industry can never be doubted. Though she's already nearing 50, she is still continuing with her craft. She just released her new and totally hip album Hard Candy. In her new album, Madonna takes on pop like a pro should, and the result is a spirited and playful dance-pop music that will make you groove. But she did not come up with this new album alone, she enlisted the help of other artists who are into urban-music like Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate "Danja" Hills.

The latest movie that's creating a lot of buzz today is none other than "Iron Man". On its Premiere in New York last Monday night, big stars flocked to the theater. Well, the actors of the blockbuster graced the red carpet; Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and director Jon Favreau. They all glided on the red carpet at the Tribeca Grand screening room for the event that was hosted by Michael Kors and the Cinema Society. The main character in the movie, Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, was played by Robert Downey Jr. Conflict in the story happens when Tony Spark fights with his ex-business partner Obadiah Jones, which is played by Jeff Bridges.

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden are still together (they celebrated two-month anniversary the other day) and to prove that things are really sweet between them, Benji has written a song inspired by his current muse, Paris!
The song is entitled 'Shine Your Light' and is a beautiful love song all about me ... according to Paris herself!
Paris also seems to think that Benji is the right guy for her, she says: "He's my best friend. He's just different from any guy that I've ever been with. I just trust him completely, and I know that he'd be there for me, no matter what."
Paris also said: "He makes me feel really happy, comfortable and really in love."

So, will there be an engagement soon?

Scarlett Johansson must be on her toes right now, wanting to know what people think of her debut music video of her debut single of her debut album!
Scarlett has been working hard on her first music album 'Anywhere I Lay My Head', which is set for a May 20th release.
The first song we get to hear and watch is 'Falling Down'.
I listened to the song and didn't like it much! The clip isn't special either.
The clip looks like it's a day in the life of Scar-Jo and the vocals sound very distant! Her voice is also kinda' monotonous!
It's great that Scar-Jo took a different path in the clip, something dark and not girl-y at all, but it's not something to push your singing career with, i guess.
I know, music videos aren't the core of the issue here, but they do play a big part in the music business.

Annie Leibovitz is defending her shoot now, by saying the photo was misinterpreted.
She says: “I'm sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted. Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”

It’s true, it is simple and beautiful, but is it right for a 15-year-old? That’s the question?

Country singer and Idol finalist Carrie Underwood held a concert with Keith Urban in Atlanta a few days ago and it was one memorable concert!

Miley Cyrus is the rising star of the year and she’s all over the media for many reasons!
She’s on the cover of the upcoming June issue of Vanity Fair and inside there’s a stunning photo spread too.
The photos were shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Miley poses with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus and by herself in the photos, but it seems there’s one pose that was kinda’ manipulated and that isn’t to Miley and her family’s liking.
In the photo Miley appears to be topless and wrapped in a blanket, but her parents were with her during the photoshoot, even her grandma was there, and they liked the photo and thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley.

The racy photos of Miley Cyrus that circulated on the net last week aren’t something Miley’s proud of.
On the contrary, she has felt embarrassed by them and released an apology about them.
Miley said: “The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone.”
I guess if Miley wants to really learn from her mistakes, then she shouldn’t take photos of herself in her underwear or in suspicious poses with guys! No?
I think that should be a guideline for every teen star!
Oh .. And Miley, your apology is accepted!
