Britney Spears' appearance on 'How I Met Your Mother' was good but was it that good?
It seems her dad thinks so and feels strongly that Britney should put an end to her music career and get into acting!
A report from Page Six claims that Britney's dad, Jamie, wants his daughter to have a decent full day job which would keep her busy and away from trouble.
A Spears insider said: "Britney did a great job on 'How I Met Your Mother'. She got the show its highest ratings yet, but more importantly for Jamie, he wants his daughter at a normal 9-to-5 job to keep her working and out of trouble. A sitcom would do that. So he’s exploring several offers for Britney to have her own show."

Don't go crying now ... but Supernatural star Jared Padalecki is no longer on the market and is officially engaged to his girl friend Sandra McCoy!
Jared confirmed the happy news at the Supernatural L.A. Convention the other day.
The cute couple met in 2005 on the set of the horror movie Cry Wolf.

Hayden Panettiere may have a warrant in her name in Japan ... but she got a big fat award for trying to save the dolphins and protesting against the annual slaughter of dolphins in Japan last year.
Hayden was awarded at the 2008 Genesis Awards, which were held Saturday night, and received the Gretchen Wyler Award for making news on behalf of animals!
Hayden was overwhelmed by tears as she accepted the award and needed some time to regain her composure before returning to her seat.
Beverly Kaskey, Senior Director of The Hollywood Office of The Humane Society of the United States said: “We feel Hayden is a very worthy successor to Sir Paul McCartney, last year’s Wyler Award recipient. She’s an inspiring example to her generation, using her compassion, courage and celebrity to help animals in a very effective way.”

Guess who was in the attendance? Hayden's mom and dad ... and Milo Ventimiglia! Lucky Hayden!

The annual Kids Choice Awards which here held Saturday, were filled with green slime!
That's not a strange thing, every year the winners and presenters are surprised with a huge slime ball falling on them and filling the stage ... eeewww!!!
The winners this year include Drake and Josh for Favorite TV Show, Drake Bell for Favorite TV Actor award, American Idol for Favorite Reality Show, Eddie Murphy for his voice work in "Shrek The Third" and The Jonas Brothers for Favorite Musical Group.
Cameron Diaz also got an award, the Wannabe Award! Ouch!

As for the biggest winner of the night ... you know it's gotta be Miley Cyrus!
Miley won two awards, Favorite TV Actress and Favorite Female Singer! She was about to win Favorite TV Show and make a triple strike, but lost it to Drake and Josh!

So, who got slimed this time around?
Jack Black, Orlando Bloom, Harrison Ford and Shia LaBeouf!

There were strong rumors about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt getting married in New Orleans over the weekend ... but they're no more than the usual rumors!
It's true, the expectant couple was in New Orleans for a few days, but they did not tie the know in a small ceremony in a church -like it was reported-.
Brad Pitt was in New Orleans for one reason, to break ground on his Make It Right project to help rebuild the city's Lower Ninth Ward.
The couple was also in the Austin, Texas, while Pitt filmed scenes for his new movie, Tree of Life, with Sean Penn.
But make a note of it, there was no wedding!

The thing is, i haven't seen much of Angelina Jolie lately ... she's on my baby bump watch, but she's not showing herself much these days.
The last photo i came across of her was when she and the kids were having a Cheetos moment in New Orleans about 10 days ago!

Lindsay is going to join the cast of a crazy movie; she's going to be a Manson girl in the movie Manson Girls.
Lilo will play Nancy Pitman, once a loyal member of Charles Manson's freaky band.
Before starting shooting Manson Girls Lohan will shoot the comedy Ye Olde Times with Jack Black and David Arquette this spring.

If you're not familiar with Charles Manson ... he's one twisted dude!
Manson is a convict who led the "Manson Family" that arose in California in the late 1960's. He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the Tate-LaBianca murders, which members of the group carried out at his instruction. He was later convicted of the murders themselves.
Before strting the Family, Manson was an unemployed ex-convict, who had spent half his life in correctional institutions for a variety of offenses!
He's in prison now, was set for the Death penalty, until it became illegal in California, so it's been lowered to life in prison! He won't be eligible for parole until 2012. Thank God!

Sasha Baron Cohen never seizes to surprise! He's full of ideas ... weird ones!
Cohen is currently filming scenes for his latest movie about a new sorta character ... this time it's not Borat! but an Austrian homosexual TV host and fashion expert called Bruno!
He caused havoc at the Wichita Airport when he stripped down to tight shorts and began kissing, dancing and fighting in the lobby! The people actually got scared!
The airport gave him and his crew permission to film inside the airport (i guess they regret that now), but they didn't see such a thing coming!
So, get this, the assistant director of airport operations, says it won’t be as easy to film at the airport in the future. Ouch!
I wonder what hilarious things he's going to do next!

Well, there might be ... when Link took a look at the head in the box in S3, he only took a tiny glance and we also got the feeling that Sarah got killed ... well, it seems that that head was of a female, but not Sarah! 'Cause get this, Sarah is coming back in Season 4 of Prison Break!!! She'll be on board throughout the whole season too!

Yay! I'm glad that Sarah will be back! She's an important character and she definitely plays a good part in the series ... especially for Michael!

Paris Hilton has been touring the world in the past couple of days. She was in south Africa, Germany and yesterday was in Turkey!
Paris was a judge on the Miss Turkey 2008 pageant, which was held in Istanbul.
In addition to judging, Paris also did some belly dancing! She got up on stage and twirled, clapped and shook her hips along with a Turkish belly dancer.
You can imagine Paris trying to follow the sophisticated steps of the dancer ... but ended up taking her seat like a good girl towards the end of the number.
I think Paris should stick to shopping and vacationing ... I don't trust her judgment of anything!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got a whopping $4 Million for the exclusive photos of their biological baby Shiloh Nouvel ... and Jennifer Lopez got an even more whopping $6 Million for the photos of her baby twins ... So, what's the number going to be for the exclusive photos of the much awaited new baby of Jolie and Pitt?
Rumors have it that the number is a ginormous $10 Million!
Yes! Believe it!
Angelina can demand any number above the one J-Lo got ... that means somewhere between 8 and 10 Million bucks!

If that's true, more celebrities might think of having babies! It's a good money making business!

Stephen King's 'The Mist' was recommended to me by many friends and when i read the reviews on the net about it, my husband and i were persuaded to get it and watch it.
As it's an adaptation of King's novel, i was sure it would be over the top, awesome and fantastic! A movie worth owning ... but at the end of the movie i was utterly disappointed!
The beginning of the movie is great; a family, a house on the lake and a town getting engulfed by a dense mist ... definitely creepy!
But then as the creatures from within the mist start appearing ... what the heck is this? I get a strange feeling that it's going to turn cheesy!
Ok, mist, unworldly creatures, people getting killed in the mist and people trying to survive ... what's new? What's so fantastic about this?
To say the truth, i watched the movie in bed, and i tried not to doze off while i was watching ... so, i didn't miss anything important ... but when i saw how the movie ended ... i really wished I'd slept through the whole thing! I hated myself! I hated the TV screen and i hated my husband for nudging me all the time to finish the movie! I hated Stephen King! AAAHHH!!!

Nothing is surprising anymore with these recurrent DUI arrests!
Hollywood and the rest of the world are going mad and DUI is just an ordinary incident nowadays!
The latest celebrity to fall into this mistake was Richie Sambora the other night!
Sambora was pulled over in Laguna Beach with his 9-year-old daughter in the car with him!
How irresponsible can one get? If you want to get drunk and drive around town, don't do it with your daughter in the car with you!
His daughter wasn't the only person in the car with him, it seems her friend was there too and another woman, maybe Sambora's new girl friend!
Sambora was given a blood alcohol test. He didn't blow in the thingy, but his blood was actually tested. He was then detained.
At around 4 am he was released and is set to appear in court in May.
