Renowned TV personality Barbara Walters was rushed to the hospital on Saturday night after falling and cutting her head on the stairs. The accident happened when she attended an inauguration party at the British Ambassador Peter Westmacott’s home.
ABC News spokesman Jeffrey Schneider said on Sunday that Barbara immediately went to the hospital to have her cut tended to on Saturday. A full examination is also expected to be done on the 83-year-old newswoman. Until now she’s still in the hospital and it is unclear when she would be released.
However, Schneider assured everyone that Barbara is doing fine and is quite alert. In fact, she’s acting like her typical self and telling everyone what to do! Certainly it’s a sign that she’s not suffering from anything serious.
Barbara Walters is most known for her annual special “10 Most Fascinating People,” all-out interviews and appearance in “The View.” She also takes part in lots of charity works.
