Country crooner Taylor Swift really has all the awards she could ever want or deserve but you know what? Another one has just been added to her growing list! She’s been proclaimed as the most charitable celebrity this year in the Top 20 Celebs Gone Good of 2012 by DoSomehting.org.
The good deed that the organization considered was her $4 million donation to the Country Hall of Fame museum last May this year. She did that in order to help educate kids and make them appreciate country music more. The 23-year-old singer was also recognized by the Robert F. Kennedy Center and was a recipient of the Ripple of Hope Award earlier this year.
Following closely behind Taylor is Miley Cyrus! Didn’t know she was into philanthropic work that much. Anyway, she’s in second place for her promotion of Saving Spot! Rescue, which is a non-profit organization that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters. So, that’s the reason why she’s adopted about half a dozen dogs!
Besides that, Miley is also connected with Save The Music Foundation, Starkey Hearing Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Other stars who are included in the Celebs Gone Good of 2012 list are Channing Tatum, Justin Bieber, Robin Roberst, Pink and LeBron James.
Great work you guys! May you continue helping other people this coming year!
