Even as early as now, Oscar Awards producers are already getting the line up ready for the 2013 Awards show. They wouldn’t want to encounter any glitch so near the show now would they? One of the most important persons in the Oscar Awards is the host because, obviously, the show can’t proceed without one!

Yesterday, Oscars producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced who will play host in next year’s Oscars and it’s none other than Seth MacFarlane, creator of “Family Guy.” Oscar producers are confident that MacFarlane’s performing skills is perfect for what they have in mind for a fresh and entertaining show. They are going to use his talent as a writer, performer, singer and dancer in the Oscars concept.

This will be MacFarlane’s first gig as Oscar’s host. Will he be any good? We will see. But his background includes hosting “Saturday Night Live.” He also got lots of TV shows to his name including “Family Guy,” “American Dad,” and “The Cleveland Show.” His box office movie “Ted” has also catapulted him to the spotlight.

After being informed that he was the Oscar’s choice host, he expressed that being picked for the job was a great privilege.

We will see how MacFarlane fares as Oscars host at the 85th annual Academy Awards on February 24, 2013 in Los Angeles! Excited?
