There is no doubt that Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most acclaimed actresses today. She’ve proven her worth as an actress when she got a Best Actress nomination for her movie “Winters Bone” in 2010. And she became the talk of the town again after her excellent portrayal of Katniss Everdeen in the blockbuster movie “The Hunger Games.”
Her performance in those movies will be kind of hard to top but we will see in her latest movie “House at the End of the Street.” Yes folks it’s a horror flick! I think it’s hard to gauge someone’s acting in a horror movie. Just think that if you got scared her acting is effective.
“House at the End of the Street” is expected to make it to the top of the box office this weekend even though it has some tough competition like Clint Eastwood’s “Trouble with the Curve.” And then there’s the police drama “End of Watch” and Lionsgate’s “Dredd 3D.”
Jennifer’s new movie is under Relativity Films which sees an opening of $10 million. However, analysts’ estimate is even higher at $18 million. We’ll see about that.
“House at the End of the Street” also stars Elizabeth Shue and Max Theriot. Will you watch it?
