Chris Brown Reaches Out in a Desperate Plea

Do you think Chris has been punished enough? There is this website called SayNow.com where the stars can record messages to their fans. Chris also used it to record a voice message for all his fans asking them to support him so that he and his music would stay relevant.

In his audio message, Brown said that there are radio stations that are not supportive and aren’t playing his song. Well, he doesn’t really expect them to be. Chris also said that he is better guy now and he is doing music for all his fans but, it won’t be possible if he is not relevant on the radio. So, he really needs all his fans to help him.

I know it must be hard for him to go out there and ask for his fans to help him, but I guess, that was his last resort since as he says he’s doing everything he can to connect with everyone. Some people have forgiven Chris but others will never erase the image of him being a convicted woman beater. Whose side are you on?

I’m sure Chris lost a lot of fans and his records are not selling like before. But, who is to blame? Is it his behaviour or the radio stations that are not playing his songs? You decide on this one.

I want to know what all of you guys think.

Boo hoo Baby Boy! You deserve what's happening. It's funny how the world is on Rihanna's side and not yours. You'll never come back from this, nor should you. Meanwhile her career is skyrocketing. She's a woman, you're a meanspirited little boy!

For something so intimate to his fans the media has blown it up to something that doesnt make sense. Chris is paying his due to society. If you don't like his music dont buy, but his fans will continue to buy and support him. We tend to forget that we are all human and we all make mistakes. What if God didnt forgive us for the mistakes we've made? hmmmm, I'm still waiting...Exactly, we can not judge! It is not up for us. This is a 20 year old young man that needs to hear positivity and not negative. Chris continue to be great and for the ones that support will supprt.

I was in a very abusive marraige and I sustained visible and invisible bruises. I eventually divorced my husband. Despite all what happened, I never wished him bad and hoped that he learned from his mistakes. He is a better person now and he has grown and he did learn.

What this young man did was definitely wrong. He never denied his wrong doing and although he seemed immature when he first apologized, I think the reality of the seriousness of what he did has finally hit him. He was sentenced and is paying his dues, even the judge is impressed with his effort. He has apologized and I believe he is sincere.

We all make mistakes including myself and we will continue to make mistakes. None of us are perfect. If my ex husband can change and has been given another chance at life, then I think that Chris Brown also deserves another chance too. Americans and people as a whole should be forgiving because people can change and have changed. I am from the Caribbean and many people on my island feel the same way. Let the boy live. Let him have a second chance at life.

i too have been in an abusive relationship, i say that not for pity but because it's made me more interested, in a way, in the topics, i never comment, blog, or anything else, but this whole topic has had my attention for the beginning. i don't support chris brown at all. and i am so crazy sick of everyone saying what he did was a "mistake" we've all seen the pictures that was no mistake i dont know about anyone else but i cant remember the last time i mistakenly beat the crap out of someone, it just wasnt a mistake it was a choice he was consciously aware of doing, and lasted long enough for him to stop himself even if it began on impulse. coming from a similar situation i know that this says a lot about the person. hopefully he does grow from it and can change for the good, i personally will never support him, but the issue everyone is concerned with is his music, which to me has nothing to do with him as a person, its his job and i agree he does his job well, i can like his music and dislike him. its the same as when everyone was bashing rihanna for returning to music videos and releasing her album, like the meant she wasnt hurt or didnt care, its her job, no one would expect a non celebrity to coming end their lives in order to show they were effected by someone beating them relentlessly, we all encourage them to move on, son after all is said and done i cant see myself ever being a fan of chris brown and who he is as a person i have no respect for someone like that. none. but musically i am a big enough and mature enough person to admit he has talent, personal opinions and sentiments shouldnt determine a person's job, so i say play it if its good its good and if its bad its bad.....but please lets all agree to just stop saying he made a "mistake" it trivializes domestic abuse, child abuse, hate crimes, animal cruelty, and countless other acts of violence in our society, we all need to see things for what they are.::shrug:: you live the life you choose, he chose to beat the crap out of someone who never stood a chance against him, that was not a mistake it just wasnt, sorry cant take back everything,

I also don't think he 's really sorry for what he did, I think he's sorry his career isn't doing well and he doesn't want to lose it, so he'll do or say anything for that.

it was a mistake, mastakes are often the choices and bad decisions we
make and if anyone can say they have never made a bad choice or
mistake they will be lying...so yes it was a mistake and yes he can't
take it back but he needs to be given a chance to redeem himself

I think that everybody needs another luck and chris do his best to deserve it. He made a mistake but now he regrets he does not stop apologizing and he is not the only man to have beaten a woman. People should stop judging the other one but try to understand them. In this story Chris lost many things and I think that if he had to live again this day he would not beat Rihanna but he cannot change the past he can just assume it and he makes it.

    Chris is an idiot.
    He had everything,
a beautiful girlfriend, genuine fans, fame, happiness and money.
But he was stupid, he made NO mistake.
A mistake is forgetting to call someone, or forgetting to buy the apples from the supermarket
It not a mistake to beat someone up badly, especially a woman.
His songs are good, i still listen to a few
but he don't deserve to be in the spotlight anymore.
He will always be known for this, and it should take more than a year or two to forgive him.

who the hell are yall to deicde what a mistake is. a mistake is just what the definition says. there are little mistakes (like forgetting to call someone JESS) and there are big mistakes, like what chris did. i know he's doing everything he can to redeem himself but he in no way, as long as he's human, does he deserve what he's getting. we all know what he did(wasn't right) and we all (especially women) had a right to be mad. what he DID was unacceptable, not him. hes a great and potential having musician. before feb.8th people were comparing him to michaeal jackson, and he's still that same chris. and like iv'e said a million and 1 times, great music is great music, no matter who's behind it.
and JESS why should it take more than a yr or 2 to forgive him. thats not what forgiveness is a bout, if your going to forgive, then just go on and forgive. why count down time? that says more about you than him.

and no he didn't take the few months in jail, but he's taken over a year of cruel and uneccessary bullshi** that makes a jail sentence seem like heaven.
but anyway to stay on topic, i heard the say now message today and i must say that truly was heartbreaking. i almost cried but i didnt. but the point is it should not have come down to this. its to the point where i cringe whenever i see rihanna (take that as you will). he made a MISTAKE, he's paying for it with his community service+, and he's still making great music while bettering himself and not letting the media fire burn him. i know im always gonna support my baby because he's phenomonal, flaws and all.

Well first i would like to say that everyone does make mistakes, you live and learn from them that's what makes who we are the msitakes. Some are BIG mistakes that we make but like what was said earlier forgiveness isn't put on a timeline! Chris Brown is a great performer overall i even went out and bought his CD, actually i bought them both at the same time. Chris is just a kid that did make a bad choice that caused not only him but MILLIONS of people pain! Do i believe that he learned from it MAYBE! I mean i think if they weren't who the are then i think it wouldn't of stopped there He has been on the other side watching his mother go through it with her partner for a big part of his life. So that right there should've of stopped him from doing it. But it didn't and now he is paying the price. I totally agree with second chances but i just dont fully believe he will make a better choice with it! A msitake was made when he hit her the first time. But what kept him going? Why continue to beat her the way he did if he knew it was a mistake.... After the first punch was thrown the mistake thing is out the window he knew what he was doing and he could no longer call it a mistake. What he did was beat Rihanna like a random STRANGER! Someone he LOVED and called his GIRL,BESTFRIEND ETC. So now that his music is not doing as good he is starting to feel sorry for himself and trying to get pity ANYWHERE he can and look at this he's getting it. People are starting to make excusses for him now. Making him out as the VICTIM ! If it was any one of your mom, sister, brother etc would you still be making those excuses? No you wouldn't. Rihanna is trying to move on with her life and forget about this diffucult time and put it all behind her. Yeah it's harder for him because now his MONEY is affected but if he is truely sorry then he will get back on track on god could judge him. Chris took all his gifts forgranted now they are not in reach for him and he has to WORK for it he turns to his FANS AND CRYS LIKE THE LITTLE BOY HE IS. MAN UP CHRIS!. YOU just got to get back to the basics and make everyone fall back in love with you just like you did when you first dropped! Don't try to bring the pity party and make people feel sorry for you cause clearly that doesn't work in your favor. So keep your faith and get back to the basics let your music speak for itself.

Chris needs a second chance, he makes great music. I'm sick and tired of Rihanna playing the victim and spitting out shitty tunes and parading around half-naked. Has she not learned anything? She got beat by Chris and now is with another abusive man (Matt Kemp)? At least Chris is giving back to the community etc. What has Rihanna done for domestic violence victims?? NOTHING! I repeat, NOTHING!! She even refused to go to therapy after the beating. This tells me alot about her. She's just a puppet, all that matters to her is her fame and money. She even said it, if it wasn't for her young fans, she woulda still be with Chris. WTF! So becuz u know little girls are looking up to you as a role model, you want to stop being with a "wife beater"?? So if she was not, she woulda stayed..how stupid! And role model? LOL.. yea walking around naked and singing about sex is being a role model right?? Yea right!! After all this rationalizing, I forgive Chris. He wants to be a better person. Rihanna, just cares about her fame and money. Point made!

Ok for one point, Chris Brown sucks, and So does Rihanna, They both suck and worship the devil, shut up about it. I swear America is corrupted listening to that fake R&B shit, like Seriously spend some time listening to some 90's R&B and you will see that Today is bullshit compared to it.

Rihanna is a total devil worshiper, you can tell how she changed. She's a freemason, just like Jay-Z and Beyonce, BTW stop listening to them too, they all suck! They only care about money. They don't give a shit about their fans.

Chris Brown doesn't deserve to be a big star anymore. I think good fortune on that level shouldn't be lauded on a woman beater. He isn't a worthless human being, and there are still other things he can do in life. International superstar though? I don't think so. I am judging him by my own standards (which is my right) and choosing not to support him or his music. I want to support someone who is positive and is a good person. A lot of other people are doing the same. His last record only sold @250K copies compared to the millions he sold for the last album. If fans still want to buy his music, that's fine. But don't expect sympathy just because he can't reach the same success as before. Living a normal life like the rest of us is nothing to pity.

well honestly i any one of us had that much money at stake, regardless of which side we stod one we'd care too, at least she was honest enough to say that she would've stayed, maybe she needed tol force herself away from him, thats what is so difficult with domestic violence around the world emotions cloud your decision making skills there are women who leave at the first push and some that stay through hospitalizations everyone is difference lives their lives differently the topic at hand now is judging rihanna or chris for how they live their lives it originated as a topic of his career being affected.......i have lost respect for chris brown as a person and years of dedication and proving he's changed could only change that, but thats not the topic. i enjoy his music and listen to it still he is one of the most talented people of our generation, however he chose a profession where public opinion is a key factor and thus he's suffering the obvious repercussions that was his choice, people bash rihanna for choosing to not be with him because of her career, but thats her choice she cant help making a better one than chris, they wouldnt have worked in the long run anyway.......so in short i say who cares if i hate you hate or people out there like him its his music that in question here, and i say play it........as long as it stays good. but hey thats just one idea

EVERYONE HAS MADE A MISTAKE IN THEIR OWN LIVES SO LET CHRIS LIVE HIS LIFE, HE IS A YOUNG MAN, LET HIM HAVE A CHANCE TO LEARN FROM HIS MISTAKES. Enough is Enough!! What Chris Brown did is in the past with BRIANNA, I am sure she was not as innocent as she played it all out to be. ANYONE of you that has stated that they hate Chris or don't forgive him does not have a relationship with Christ, you are to forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespas against us!!! I believe that God has forgiven Chris and that as long as he is forgiven that we should not judge him. No one judges you when you make a mistake so why judge him your lifes on not make public for the world to see. It's easy to talk crap about someone when you have your own skeltons in your closets. Chris Brown I pray that your life be restored and that god lift you up in his light and that people find forgiveness in their hearts and know that God is a forgiven soul, no one has a place to make a judgement but him, so as long as you stay close to God, no one else's words should hurt you! You should call KISS FM here and Dallas and start with Kidd Kraddock, he is a forgiving man and will help you on your path. If I was you I would place a call to him directly!!! carly i soooooo agree. rihanna is not taking nearly half as much of the blame as chris (if any). not that she did what he did, but i doubt she was just so innocent. people keep looking at what chris did because its exploited so much. like i hate when i read something in a magazine that goes "pictured here we have singer rihanna (ex girlfriend of abuser chris brown)...." or "here we have chris brown (yeah the one that beat up rihanna)...."

that makes me so sick. people just wont forget it was 2 of them in the relationship and for all we know he could of been pushed to that point. not that what he did was right but since people act like they know so much to hate chris, why is rihanna being ignored. because she didn't physically do what chris did? well ain that some sh** because if rihanna is anything like what she seems like, im sure she left emotional scars, which unlike her face cant heal.

This topic is interesting to me because of the three consistant catagories of answers; the never forgivers, the forgivers, and the religous 2nd chancers. Well I'll just give my couple of pennies and say that I partially agree with carly that both of them deserve blame for what happened although none of us really knows what happened that night but i'm sure chris didn't just figured he would pull over for no reason and beat his then girlfriend up viciously right? And since neither one of them are giving anymore info on the subject lets focus on the punishment he received from the media which is what he's trying to counter. Radio stations have long been controlled by certain record companies and certain artist so as long as Jay Z, who's music i'm a big fan of, Kanye, and other people who are personally involved because of their relationship with rihanna are pulling the radio stations strings, chris' music won't get very much rotation unless his fans flood the stations with calls requesting to hear it so there is your formula for anyone who want to help this talented brother get his music back on the radio. chris brown is a special MUSICAL individual so as long as he stays creative and repent for his sins to GOD and he'll be heard again because we still bought and played many singer's music after they beat their mates be it male or female, since we've had a few of them beating their husbands and boyfriends too, look it up!! thank you for taking the time to read my comment. His plea is a last ditch effort to try to get people on his side. He took a major hit in his career and his life for his actions. I was raised to never strike a woman and I haven't...ever....Why does it seem he should be forgiven for doing the unthinkable. There is no justification for what he did...no matter how you try to spin it!!!!!!Do you think he was thinking about the future ramifications of what he has done? This music industry is fucked up. Today everybody is cursing Chris but tomorrow it might be different. As Keri Hilson said, all he needs for his comeback is ONE HIT, only one and he'll be back for good.I think that wat he should do is focus and work on that hit and pray God. If being a musician is wat God planed for him, his career will bounce back and everything will be back to normal for him coz he has the talent. Look, I'm not at all condoning what Chris did to Rihanna but, I do believe it is pointless for his career to suffer as a result. Do we really want another young man to end up like possibly Corey Haim did, broke, alone, and high on drugs coz no one would give him another chance? He made a mistake, and he was convicted and has done his time. Seriously, let it go.....

Stop calling the boy a woman beater, girlfriend basher, wtf ever. I'm not saying he's Scott free innocent but he is paying for what was done. Rihanna on the other hand isn't paying for shit she is salting the wound for the media to feed off of. She of course hit him first etc, etc. Sure, she's a female and it couldn't have possibly had an affect like his hits did but it could do something. I think that the light needs to be shown that she is a girl just as Chris is a boy not woman and man but both children who hit each other and do not have any type of self-control clearly. Chris is working on it though, he has to. After this incident, after the media, all the hate he is getting he has to. Rihanna is a violent girl, when she fights she fights to inflict real pain... WHO THE F***CK WOULD SMASH A GLASS BOTTLE IN THEIR "LITTLE" BROTHER'S FACE? That's ridiculous, I mean my little brother and I fight but that's just wild. Never have I ever thought of going that far as getting a weapon to hit my little brother or any of my siblings with. My home isn't the best but hers had to be major dysfunctional for something like that to have happened. She is violent but yet she is victim though she practically provoked and enraged Chris brown to his instant without any real thought due to anger reaction?. Lol At least he didn't bash her in the head with a glass bottle, that could really hurt and kill someone right? Oh, ok. Just checking, I had to google. I listen to both individuals music but for them not to be playing Brown's music it's just ridiculous. His music has nothing to do with this really, it wouldn't change what had happened. Play his music, he owns up to the incident, is staying true to himself. He DESERVES it. -Twinkie 1&2&3
    p.s. GO CHRIS BROWNNNN

This comment is to the young man Scott that is happy to see Chris Brown career not taking off after the Rihanna incident. I believe that Chris Brown career will take some time to be rebuild. But reading Scott comment young Man you have some serious issue with his actions and you have every right to your feelings. There is a saying be very careful what you say about others, Because one day you may very well find yourself in a similar situation and need someone to be on your side. We all know what he did was wrong but, we all know that Black Women don't take cheating very well. We fight hard and there is no way in hell you can tell me that Rihanna wasn't kicking Chris Brown ass in that car. quote from Rihanna we were both toxic for one another. In truth think about what does that mean. TOXIC =POISON IN HER WORDS THATS THE WAY SHE MUST HAVE BEEN TREATING HIM. CHRIS NEVER SAID THAT ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP. NOW AGAIN THINK WHO MUST HAVE BEEN THE POISON IN THE RELATIONSHIP.

Here we are in 2010 and we still talking about this situation. The fight that happen between these two was not a single situation that resulted in one night kick ass beating of Rihanna. I have family that live in Va. and people don't know the crazy bitch Rihanna is she has fought Chris and smash his windows of his house and cars (media won't tell you that).I just don't figure how anyone can put the whole blame on one person when it takes two to fight. I'm a BLACK WOMAN and I know and I can bet my life on it that Rihanna was kicking Chris ass in that car. she didn't think for one moment that it would turn out like that. Women especially Black Women won't dare to even hit our men if they have the potential to react like the way Rianna got her ass beat. use your mind people this was a relationship where this woman felt comfortable with her hitting hands and it just was that this one night they weren't only hers. Think again she went back to him for two reason the fear that Chris would tell the truth about her violent nature and the second one was out of guilt for beating him and provoting him into a fight while he was driving. Hell has no fury like a woman who is scorn! unfortunately Chris didn't know what he truly was getting himself into messing with this talent bitch. His lesson in life is to date women with love in their hearts for a Black Man trying to make it in a whole that still sees black and white. Good Luck Chris.

I love hearing the same thing..."you'll never comeback, you're career is over..." What a bunch of ignorant BS. Chris Brown is more popular than ever. The simple fact that people will not leave him alone proves that. The fact is that Chris Brown is far too talented to be sidelined. That is why people will not stop berating him. They don't realize that they are just giving him more attention. Good or Bad. Attention is attention. If people were smart they would actively stop giving energy to Chris Brown. This is the only way they can get rid of him. Thank you, morons for all of your energy.
