The man who brought up a child molestation case against Michael Jackson is dead! Evan Chandler, 65-years-old, father of Jordan Chandler, was found dead in his luxury apartment in New Jersey on November 5. He died due to one gunshot wound in the head. The police found him with the gun still in his hand. Clearly, it was suicide, although no suicide note was found.
The cause of the suicide has not yet been established but the police found prescription medication in his apartment. This indicates that he has a serious illness; but, as to what it is, the police wouldn’t say. A Jersey City police spokesperson said, “There was no note found in the apartment, but officers did find medication in keeping with a serious medical condition.”
If you’re not sure who Evan Chandler is, well he is the man who brought the child molestation case against Michael Jackson in 1994. He reported to Santa Barbara police that Michael sexually abused his son Jordan who was only 13 years old that time. Both parties agreed to a settlement. The Chandlers received $22 million.

All I know if Evan Chandler is what I have researched. I can't pretend to know his desperation. Let me say now that I feel MJ is entirely innocent of both sets of allegations. Those who want to know more, lots of articles and videos and research materials. None of us were in the room, so we can only go by instinct or deep research that leads to an educated assessment or hypothesis. I believe if a man has lost contact with all former wives and his son, and if he died alone, a very sad thing, that it's hard not to feel sorry for someone who was that desperate in the end. The question is, "Why did everyone estrange himself from Evan?" . . . Let me also say that it's hard for me to see how anyone can believe particular supposed journalists who are being quoted, such as Diane Dimond who clearly constantly slanted her stories on Michael, it's rather maddening that people still, not only sometimes beileve her, those who do not know better, but that some reputable mainstream journalistic venues quote her! . . . Back to Evan, I do feel he seemed to be a desperate man, the question that pertains not only to his passing but to the MJ allegations is very pointed. Why would a man die alone? Where is everyone that ever knew him? Those people reading this, do not forget the other man, who most believe is innocent, who died earlier than he would have if not for the exhausting life he led after Evan Chandler made his allegations. I am not saying this must apply to Evan, I am hypothesizing that if there, per chance, was guilt within him, if he made up the allegations for cash, if someone lives with guilt like that for so long, there's a chance that they become numb to it until something creates an awakening again . . . would MJ's passing have brought up new feelings or reawakened feelings in him? . . . The Tell Tale Heart is Edgar Allan Poe's short story about guilt and a man's mind, that guilt leads him to confess. Who knows? None of us were in the room. However, it has always been my instinct that MJ is innocent. Also, after much research and viewing the Arviso depostiion and the jury deputy and so much more, knowing the second family was prone to suing, and various supposed details in the Chandler case . . . makes it an educated guess one might bet their money on that Chandler and Arviso ruined Michael's life for money . . . but his life is not ruined. He died younger than he would have if he had not been hounded and harrassed by the media since 1993, MJ, that is . . . and I have wondered if Arviso would have ever come forward if Chandler hadn't paved the way first. What a tragedy, for Michael to have suffered such gross injustices, in my opinoin, and for anyone to want money so badly that it drove them to ruin others' lives, "if" that is the case . . . It's a sad world . . . money will never fill a person up . . .

This is the price Evan Chandler has to pay for destroying Michael Jackson, a wonderful human being who has brought so much joy to the world through his music, dance, and humanitarian work. I started having a depression the day Michael Jackson died and have since been struggling every single day. However, when the news of Evan Chandler comitting suicide came two days ago, I found myself starting to come out of my depressed state. It is important for me to know that God is still in control and that He is righteous.
I put a curse on Evan Chandler 2 months ago, and I can't beleive that this has happened, I don't think I will be cursing anyone again, this has really freaked me out, but he has had his Karma now.

I share your feelings. I was elated that Evan Chandler died. Now that Jermaine has said that Jordan has come forward and confessed that "Michael never touched him" I wish we could get more of that story, but the guy won't want to break the contract and llose all his money. Maybe he will take care of himself like his father did? I share your sadness and feel that after five months I need to let this go. . . .but I still read the news every day online. I agree with you, I'm heart broken and I listen to his music everyday and it's very painful. I have been a MJ fan from the start and he was such a gentle spirit and deserved so much more than what he got. I just wished he was so lonely at his time of death and Dr Murray needs to pay for what he has done
