Lil Wayne is making waves right now. In a New York City courtroom on Thursday, Lil Wayne just had the moment of truth. He pleaded guilty to weapons possession that was charged against him when the police found a loaded gun on hid tour bus back in July 2007. With this admission, Lil Wayne is facing up to one year in prison. He still needs to go back in court for another hearing on Dec. 15, but the sentencing is scheduled in February. And at the moment, Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, is free on $30,000 US bond.

Lil Wayne was supported by his Cash Money family, specifically Birdman and Ronald “Slim” Williams when he appeared in court on Thursday.

Aside from this trouble, Lil’ Wayne is also facing a trial for drug and weapons possession on charges made in 2008. Wheeww! It looks like he’s going have a hectic schedule in court.
