Rihanna parties the same way she works - hard! And her hard work is paying off because she’s more than ready to release her latest album Rated R. In fact Russian Roulette, a single from the album is finally out! Fans can already enjoy a foretaste of what’s to come in Rihanna’s fourth studio album. Russian Roulette made its debut on Ryan Seacrest’s KII S-FM.
This latest single was written and produced by Ne-Yo. I don’t know where NE-Yo got his inspiration though. If you hear the song, it describes a woman who is on the verge of a suicide. The dark theme of the song can be observed from the very first chords. The melody and the sound effects tells a story although the lyrics are somewhat vague. But the gun shot sound at the ending is enough of a clue as well.
