You’ll have more reason to stay glue to your TV screens on December 7 because Carrie Underwood has a date with you on that day! She is set to host her very own show on the Fox channel on that date, so make sure it’s marked on your calendar! The show is entitled Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special. It’s indeed a very apt name because the show will be star-studded! Some of the celebrities who will appear in the show are Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, and David Cook. It’s going to be a very lively night because the show is all about musical performances and comedy skits.

Carrie is also set to perform her greatest hits, some classics as well as some of the songs in her latest album Play On. This album is produced in cooperation with Max Martin, Kara DioGuardi, Raine Maida and Josh Kear.

Carrie’s show will be executive-produced by Simon Fuller and directed by Nigel Lythgoe of ‘So You Think You Can Dance,” and Adam Shankman, director of “Hairspray.”
