Are you fond of thriller and horror movies? Messengers 2: The Scarecrow would be a good movie for you to watch then. This movie is actually the prequel of The Messengers movie that was released back in 2007. Those who were able to watch that film will have a better understanding of the things that happened there.

This movie Messengers 2: The Scarecrow open with a woman running through the corn fields, fleeing from someone or something that she couldn’t see. All her efforts on self-preservation were in vain because she was killed by the one pursuing her. That's expected, no?
Then, the story unfolds about the Rollins family and their problems at the farm where they live. The corns are dying because of poor irrigation, crows are eating the crops, and the father, John Rollins, is in big debt to the bank. While working in the barn, he finds a secret door and inside that door he finds a scarecrow.

He places that scarecrow in his farm to keep the crows away. After that, strange things start happening. The seemingly harmless scarecrow comes alive and begins killing anyone who gets in its way. Okay, now enough of the spoilers!! You have to see the movie in order to find out if the Rollins family survived!
