During the 2009 VMA Awards last night, Janet Jackson paid tribute to her late brother, Michael Jackson.
Janet and the dancers who were set to perform on his doomed This Is It Tour, stunned the audience with a performance of Michael's 1995 hit, 'Scream'.

After Janet performed, the This Is It dancers filled the stage, as a big screen played scenes from Michael's Thriller, Smooth Criminal and Bad videos. They danced and mirrored the memorable moves.

This tribute was one of the most touching and most memorable this summer.
Seeing Janet perform and thinking of what might be going through her mind and heart as she does, brings tears to my eyes.
