It’s time to welcome another celebrity baby into the world! Nicole Richie gave birth to her second baby with her boyfriend Joel Madden last Wednesday.

The couple is ecstatic to have a baby boy! Again, the couple opted for an unusually long name - Sparrow James Midnight Madden. But, it’s a very unique one. Nicole gave birth in the middle of the night last September 9, 2009. He came out with a healthy size of 7 lbs. 14 oz. Harlow Winter Kate Madden is now officially a big sister. The family circle is complete! On her website, Nicole especially thanks all those who gave their good wishes.

Joel Madden expressed his delight about the upcoming addition to the family back in August when he was interviewed by People Magazine.

Nicole Richie has kept a low profile since the birth of Harlow in 2008. She just kept busy on her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line and the maternity line A Pea in the Pod.
