Michael Jackson has finally been laid to rest yesterday, in a sunset funeral at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
The private funeral service was attended by 200 close family members and close friends.
Michael's three kids were there, they placed tiny paper notes inside the coffin and placed a crown on top of the casket.
Among the mourners were Liz Taylor, Barry Gordy, Quincey Jones, Rev. Al Sharpton, Lisa Marie Presley and Macaulay Culkin.
MJ's five brothers, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Randy, each wearing a single sequined white glove, were the pallbearers. They brought the golden casket onto the stage and then after the service was over, carried it into the Great Mausoleum.
Jackson's crypt is in the mausoleum's Holly Terrace section, where famous old-school stars like Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Walt Disney and Jean Harlow are resting.
This is the final goodbye ... May you rest in peace Michael ... life wasn't much of a joy ride for him but as he once said: "If you enter the world knowing you are loved and leave the world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with."
