I've always been fascinated by Vampires. The first vampire movie I ever saw was Bram Stoker's Dracula, which starred Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder.
I was obsessed with it for weeks!
On the other hand, although I like both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, Interview with The Vampire was a terrible movie and I hated it!
The first African American vampire to hit the screen was Wesley Snipes in Blade.
I really liked the movie and the vampire story was very interesting.
My favorite vampire though came later. I was an avid Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan and I never missed an episode. I guess you already know by now that my favorite Vampire is Angel which is played by David Boreanaz. Thus I later switched to Angel and I didn't miss any episode either!
Now, the newest vampire on the scene is Robert Pattinson from Twilight.
The thing is, and I know you're going to hate me for saying this, I don't like him much!
He doesn't have that intensity that a vampire should have.
I'm really sorry, I know all you Twilight fans will disagree with me, but that's my opinion!
So, I ask you know, who is your favorite on-screen Vampire?
And for that matter, If you know of an off-screen vampire, who's hot and intense! Please share! ;)
I would have to agree with you and say angel he has what it takes to be a vampire and looks good doing it yum.
It used to be a toss up between Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee (I like the classics) until Gary Oldman came along. No disrespect to any of the others intended but Gary trumps everyone that has followed! I don't know how comperable dracula is with the other vampire characters but Gary is the MASTER!

I have to say James "Spike" Marsters is my favourite vampire, he got 2 slayers, and his hair and look is amazing, i am a guy, i am straight but i totally love Spike, and incase you didn't realise he is also in Buffy and then in Angel, and come on Spike did end up to be "the champion" out of the two. XD
